You'll find serenity here surrounded by the Ashland County Forest land.  Bring your atvs, utvs, snowmobiles or silent sports gear and set up base here at Wild River Retreat! No matter the season there is reason, to stay, that is. Year-round this amazing retreat has something to offer for everyone. Be it just relaxing or enjoying activities like trail riding, kayaking, hunting or day tripping to the many scenic opportunities the Northwoods has to provide, you will not regret your choice in lodging here. Pack the family and get ready to enjoy starry nights, a crackling fire, and the most pristine accommodations you can find in these parts. This breathtaking cabin is sure to make your escape one of the most relaxing and memorable.

Sleeping arrangement: there is a queen master bedroom upstairs with private shower. Downstairs is bedroom 2, a queen and a pass through to The Bear Den bunk room which also is a pass through to The Cozy Cave with 1 twin. Bedroom 5 is a king bed and is a pass-through to a full bed in Comfort Cove. Sofa bed and Futon are available in the common spaces.

Yearly Family Vacation
It was gorgeous. Very clean. The owner was available and helpful. Great fishing and swimming. Water was a little low for kayaking. Large yard for activities. Fire pit and grill. Lots of room for sleeping. Few doors difficult to close and dishwasher was not working. Could use one more frig for large groups. Overall it was amazing and i would highly recommend it.

One of the best stays in northern Wisconsin!
The house and property were clean and well maintained. Beautiful little river running through the large open backyard. Very private. It’s what everyone pictures when they describe their dream up north cabin. We’ll definitely be back!
