Amazing service and people

Spent a lovely couple of days at Hawthorn with the family. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is incredible. Rooms are all different and have their own charm. Highly recommend.

Excellent one night stay.

Pros: The room was a reasonable size and lovely and warm. The breakfast was excellent. The owners were very friendly.
Cons: Nothing. Its lovely.
Location: It's about 10 min walk to Buxton shopping area. Dont let the fact that the location isn't quite as rural as you would expect from a farm put you off.
We stayed for one night in a lovely warm and quaint room with beamed ceilings on a cold weekend in January! The room was a reasonable size and had a small sofa, chest of drawers, wardrobe, small tv, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. The bathroom was small and narrow but served a purpose. Nice and quiet location too. Breakfast was piping hot and plentiful. Owners were very friendly. It was about 10 minute walk to the shops in Buxton and there's a Wetherspoon pub on the way.
