This home met all of our expectations and then some. Our host Edson met us with a basket of goodies fruit, wine, and cheese. He has everything you could possibly want or need kayaks, paddle boards, life preservers. Anything you could possibly want or need you’ll find here.

Awesome place and awesome host
Beautiful property with lots to do- the kayaks are awesome and the bay is beautiful. The games in the house are a great addition. My elderly mother enjoyed it and was easily able to use the handicapped chair to get around. Edson is a lovely host.

Lovely home with lots of room
Had a lovely week away with family and friends. Home was large enough to give everyone their own space but still cozy enough to share meals and games. Home is handicap accessible to a point in that there is a chair lift if stairs are the only obstacle. Neighborhood was quiet with a small nature preserve down the street to walk and get some exercise . Convenience of cranberry Highway just down the road for anything you may need and the cute small town of Onset just a quick drive across the street was perfect. . Private beach was small and a little murky but nice enough to wade in and take kayaks out. Kitchen was very well equipped to the point of almost too much stuff . Edson went out of his way to be welcoming!

Excellent stay
We had a wonderful stay. The house was spotless and the check-in was easy and seamless. We appreciated the gift basket on arrival which contained sweets and goodies for making Smores. The house was roomy enough for our 3 families, with plenty of parking for everyone. Having stayed elsewhere in Buzzard's Bay, we did find the beach a bit marshier and rockier than where we had stayed previously. Edson was the perfect host, easy to reach, and the house was well located. Thank you!

Awesome Family Vacation Home
We had a wonderful time at Bay View. The house was perfect for our family of 14 (8 adults & 6 kids). We loved spending time at the beach and Edson has it set up for fun with the kayaks, canoe, chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for the kids. Plenty of life vest too. We spent the evenings on the deck or the lower patio. And at night we played games at the massive dining table. The views of the sunrise were beautiful and the moon shining off the bay at night was breathtaking. The house is equipped with everything you need. We have stayed in many VRBO vacation homes and cooking meals is always a challenge with the quality and amount of cookware and utensils. Edson has gone above and beyond with a fully stocked and functional kitchen. Edson was an awesome host. We would 100% recommend Bay View.

We loved the location on the bay despite several days of rain. It was peaceful and very pretty watching the tide come in and out. We all swam and enjoyed the kayak's, canoe and board's a great deal. The house had everything you could need to make any kind of meal which was great. There were plenty of games and plenty of sitting spaces outside which was lovely and allowed us to each enjoy friends and conversation. Edison was a very gracious host and a genuinely lovely person.

Great affordable property, comfortable, clean with plenty of room. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking in, lots of dishes, cutlery & appliances. Plenty of beach towels, chairs & beach toys. The outside shower (with hot & cold)was so nice to wash off after enjoying the private beach. Beautiful views from many rooms. Great kitchen right off main family & dining area helped with the young children in our group. We were able to be all together while still fixing meals. Edson was a prize host and was so nice to have the personal tour to show us where to find what we needed plus leaving us a gift basket with snacks, s’mores supplies, fruit and cheese in fridge. This property was great for a large group- we had 10 adults & 6 under 3. Loved having the 3 baths with this large group. The deck overlooking the bay was also great. Beautiful sunrises also. Look forward to booking again as the grandchildren get older! September 2023. Many Thanks Marlene

We had a family vacation that had 16 people. Everything worked out fine. The inside of the property accommodated our large family and the various decks were awesome. The outside railings were gritty (might be from the salt water & trees). There was a pumping station with an overflow pipe that took away from the view. Edson was a wonderful host and i would recommend this property to future guests

Perfect for large groups
Bay view is a great house with lots of room, comfortable beds, sufficient bathrooms with good water pressure and a play/family room that was perfect for all the children of various ages. There certainly were all the necessary amenities and then some, and the watercraft were appreciated by all. Beach with calm, clean water is just a few steps away. Edson, our host, was friendly, accommodating and greeted us on arrival to explain all the home’s features. The location is good, avoids the bridges’ traffic jams but all the mid Cape activities aren’t far away by car if one misses peak traffic times. We would certainly rent this house again.

5 stars plus- excellent property and owner
A GREAT property, Edson the owner, has thought of just about everything you need to enjoy this beautiful home in an amazing location. Edson met us at check in, and explained everything about Bay View. The house is fully stocked with every kitchen appliance know to man. The canoe, kayaks and paddle boards are right there, 100 feet from the bay. The outdoor deck is excellent for dining and the covered one was great when u needed a break from the sun. Grocery stores are a mile or so away, as well as most anything you need to shop for. We were a family of 9 adults, 2 kids, 2 toddlers and a 6 months old, and we all had privacy. One of the best parts in the location. This property is very private and has lots of parking. If you are looking and on the fence, book this place, the property and owner are amazing. Thanks for a much needed week with our whole family Edson, we will be back. PS...the champagne, ice cream and gift basket withe ice cream cones and s'mores making were very much appreciated 👍

Outstanding Property, Spectacular View
Rented this property for my son's graduation from Mass Maritime Academy. We had 4 families come for the festivities. Edison was the most gracious host. Thank you for the beautiful welcome basket. We loved this house- especially, the property. Indoor outdoor living with a beautiful deck and steps from a private beach and the bay. The owner also left us with an amazing welcome basket with smore ingredients that made the whole trip w for our kids. We Loved the memories we created thanks to this house.

Lovely venue for a family reunion
We were a group of 9 adults meeting for a family reunion. We loved the bay views and the use of the kayaks and stand-up-paddle boards! The nearby dining was excellent and the house accommodated us nicely with comfortable beds for all and a well-stocked kitchen.

Family vacation
A really nice house in a secluded location . The house had gorgeous views of Buzzard bay. Everything you needed was supplied by the owner from beach chairs, canoes, kayaks, fire pit , wood, and more! The owner was available 24/7 and was very nice and accommodating. Would stay here again!

Great family get away
Our 4 grandchildren (ages 5-7), their parents and us had a splendid time in this well equipped and located home. Perfect playground for the youngsters and oldsters.

Great house for extended family!
We had 4 couples and 4 children and fit in the house perfectly, the children especially loved the bunk room. The property was exactly as advertised. We appreciated the water toys and the shed packed full of everything we needed - chairs, umbrellas, floats, life vests, even various sizes of water shoes and sandals. The kitchen was stocked with every little thing we needed and the closet full of beach towels was a life saver! The kids loved the game room and the beach. The water was a little mucky for them, especially after a few storms came through, but they loved searching for shells. The property was so quiet and a grocery store was very close by. The owner was wonderful with communication and the little extras he left for us. We have no complaints!

An extremely comfortable, private, and delightful vacation.
We brought four families with children together to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday and retirement after 52 years. 1. Sleeping: There were plenty of beds (10) across five bedrooms, along with some additional “sleep” extras, like a single futon in the kids room, day bed in the master bedroom, and two comfy couches on two floors if needed. All bed linens and plenty of blankets were provided. 2. Cooking: Huge kitchen with all appliances and fully stocked drawers and pantry. We loved the multiple coffee options; from a full coffee brewer, a Keurig, a French press, to a water boiler were available with coffees and teas. There was even a separate beverage / wine cooler we made good use of. 3. Amenities: The air conditioning was perfect through the hottest days. TVs, Wi-Fi and Internet were all as hoped for (and fast). Game tables (foosball and air hockey) and plenty of passive table games as well as many toys were available. A full shed of beach chairs, toys and a closet of beach towels was available. Many floating kayaks and boards were available. Outdoor games (like badminton), barbecue grill, fireplace for s’mores (firewood provided) and a huge number of places to sit and relax outdoors both on the deck and patio, to the lawn, porch and elsewhere. The hot and cold water outdoor shower was a delight. The two washers and dryers were great to have. Three full bathrooms (one on every floor) were perfect for all the showers, baths and family “getting ready to head out” times! The dining table fit all 13 of us. 4. Host: Mr Rafferty was a kind and personable host, who obviously cares about the property as well as his guests. He was fully available and responsive during the initial walkthrough as well as the entire stay. He even graciously provided a cake for my wife’s celebration along with champagne, cheese, crackers and more. 5. Property: The property is hidden away and VERY private (NOTE: GPS to Indian Mound Beach, drive down the hill to the sand’s edge, and then turn left!), with a delightful private beach access and directly joining Indian Mound Beach (a more sandy beach area), that will satisfy nature lovers and beach lovers alike. The very large gravel parking area fit our 4 vehicles with additional places left. There was so much to this property, that we didn’t get to utilize a lot of it during our week long stay. I’m sure I have missed describing something! All in all, our stay was perfect, and the entire family was pleased.

We have been staying here for years. The house is very clean, beautiful view, quiet neighborhood.
We had a great time, the house works for our family ages 12-78, owner is responsive. Already booked for next year.
