Exremely disappointing uncomfortable stay. The worst room I’ve ever stayed in. The room looked like it hadn't seen the light of day in years. It stank of mould but the worst was yet to come with the lighting. When we complained to reception we were told that all rooms had the same lighting and were given stick on bulbs to attach which didn't work either. I was shocked. The supposed eco-friendly room was so dark I had to use the light off my phone to do any and everthing. Absolutely appalling. I encourage manangement and staff to stay a night in Room 701 to see if they like it. Reception staff were grumpy, unfriendly and very unhelpful. Definitely nothing 5 star about this hotel. Never stay here again. I am actually scared to book another Crystalbrook resort. Do not recommend unless you are looking to stay in a cave and bring your own lighting. Disgraceful.

Beautiful hotel in a great location next to many restaurants and bars. The biggest disappointment is the only bar that is opened in the hotel closed at 8:30pm. The staff were lovely and friendly.

The design of the building and interior and views are beautiful but they were so short staffed no one ever picked up the phone when calling front desk or housekeeping. And seemed to be only 2 front desk staff helping the entire hotel doing everything. When you needed something you had to do it yourself or walk down and stand in line to receive service. They need to hire more staff to fulfill their star rating in my opinion. I saw an older woman struggling with her luggage down stairs on check out and absolutely no one there to lend a hand in the front of the hotel where many bellmen carts were.

BEWARE when booking rooms - you may not get what you pay for.... Sea View Suites are not what the photos show, and you may end up looking at ugly building and side view of an ugly marina. We splurged for a Sea View Suite and got this terrible treatment and room - being told to "lean over the balcony to see the sea." Beware of scams.

Great location. Close to the major attraction like the public pool and pick up points for tour. Also the Night Market is right next door for food. The hotel also has 2 small pools as well that is shaded from the sun.
