Minor maintenance issue, excellent stay
There was severe damage to the door to the bathroom, it had been wet and rotted at the bottom and the hinges were severely corroded. Other than that, everything else was good.

Did the job. I had a good sleep.
Stay was good. The facilities are updated, the room was clean and in good shape and I was comfortable. Nice that there were power plugs and USB power easily accessible on the bedside table. Not always easy to find power at bedside without hunting or unplugging a clock or lamp. Had a good stay and staff were friendly.

This whole experience started poorly when the hotel took payment with no authorization. I had selected the option to pay at property and they kept changing their minds on what the money was for and how much I owed. I checked the booking site and the actual hotel site for the "policies" they kept spouting and could find nothing. The rooms were nice and clean but the breakfast was very dissapointing as most days wed come down and there would be nothing available from the hot food section. The pool is nice but the hot tub jets were broken and there was never any towels available. I will NEVER stay here again.

Didn't appreciate how I couldn't plug my console into the tv & the channels on the tv were not in order to the list they provided, plus the front desk couldn't help because they also didn't know the actual channel list. The only good thing was the jacuzzi & electric fireplace.

The man who helped me when I first got here was very unfriendly and rude, and made my experience difficult to check in. But other than that the ladies were very nice and helpful and my stay turned around for the better.

Stayed for one night at the Holiday Inn in Calgary. It was a nice spacious room. Staff were very friendly. I guess the only thing would be cleanliness of the room. You could see at the top of the shower it was dirty, and cleaning was not thoroughly done. Places where you would think no one would look, I saw the dirt in the corners and hard to reach places, especially in the bathroom. And I have a thing for clean bathrooms. Other than cleanliness, the hotel was nicely done , spacious, staff were super friendly, and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast could have been more maintained (i.e. they kept running out of bacon, and coffee.). And we went early before the rush.
