We welcome you to enjoy our slice of Madeira.
Sit back and relax by the pool, the 'lookout' or underneath the old olive tree.
You will find Quinta Pereira enjoys peace and tranquility, as well as stunning views out to the unspoilt mountains and lighthouse. Indulge in breathtaking panoramic sea views and sublime sunsets.
There is no traffic or aircraft noise, no light pollution - just the sound of nature's beauty to luxuriate in.
Our 2 bedroom villa sleeps 4 and offers ocean views and spacious outdoor living. The plunge pool overlooks the swimming pool. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern conveniences including an American fridge/freezer with ice and cold water. Open plan living spaces, including free internet access. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed from the comfort of our open plan glass room.
For 2025 we have now completed our upper and lower gardens for your enjoyment. The lower gardens are accessed by a new staircase down from the main villa. Also in the lower gardens we have a new glass fronted garden studio where you can just sit and be amazed at the ocean view. We have installed a new pool table in the garden studio for your entertainment.

The house and property is stunning! The welcome bottle of Syrah was appreciated. There is so much space and multiple outdoor seating areas. The beds were extremely comfortable. Several balconies provide incredible views. The jacuzzi was dreamy in the evening, when it wasn’t raining. It was too cold to use either of the pools but I’m sure would be amazing during warmer months. We even had a little 4 legged visitor on day one who seemed to pop over just to welcome us to the property. Overall the property is highly recommended. There were a couple cons however. The downstairs bathroom which vents into the laundry room and not outside, had an awful smell of sewage. We had to keep the door shut during our stay just to make using the living room bearable. We also had to keep windows open to get fresh air. Another issue we ran into was the electricity going out when we tried to do laundry. Recommend that if doing laundry, do it at a time when other use of electricity is limited. The property is pretty tucked away from most populated areas, but the seclusion was very peaceful, a great place to let go of stress and strife and to connect with the earth.

Great views but lacking cleanliness
Our stay at the villa was disappointing. We arrived to find a construction crew building a staircase, something we were never told about. The property manager's response was a weak "sorry, bad communication," and the crew didn’t leave until the end of the day. Cleanliness was also an issue—mould in the coffee maker, and my wife had to clean the whole villa, including one of the showers. The jacuzzi and pool looked less than clean, and the villa itself felt a bit run down, though it could be easily fixed. We encountered a cockroach on the first night, adding to the discomfort caused by the overall lack of cleanliness. On the plus side, the view is stunning, and the villa is well-equipped—just in need of better upkeep. Thankfully, we arrived on a Friday and avoided the construction over the weekend, but the heavy construction noise next door wasn’t mentioned in the advert. If you're okay with beautiful views and the sound of construction, this place could work for you. We really needed a few days relaxing break, but instead got stress.

Unplugging in Paradise
Quinta Pereira was the most relaxed I’ve been on a vacation in a very long time. The house was gorgeous and the location was great for what we needed. We enjoyed laying out in the sun every day while staying at this property. Both pools and hot tub were fabulous. No light pollution at night so able to see all the stars. And it was so quiet during the day. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone looking to travel to Madeira any time soon.

I think it will not do it justice if I tried to describe in words the beauty of the property and surroundings. Even though we were there for only a short week it felt like a minute of eternity. Even my teen boys who are addicted to the screens like every kid these days were able to disconnect. It was therapeutic for sure. Great property and location. Loved being on the quieter and more scenic half of the island and away from crowds. Colin was prompt for the most part responding with any questions or concerns. The house was very well furnished with all the amenities you need and more like the telescope overlooking the view. Only exception was it would have been nice to have some shower gel and shampoo as it’s typically furnished but that’s very minor. Overall a very great property. Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely fantastic week spent here. We did end up doing quite a lot of driving but being able to come back to watch the sunsets over the sea and unwind in the pool made it all worth it. Great communication both before and during our stay, this is truly a treasure of a place.

Magnificent Views
We started our Madeira vacation in this villa and it was amazing. The views are unbelievable! We had few minor hiccups with the AC, TV and the sauna but communication was good with the owners. We never got to use the sauna as there was no power to it but we still had the jacuzzi. If you don’t have a higher car you will not be able to pull down in the driveway. Very peaceful part of the island. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and welcoming. The pool cover really does heat up the pool a few degrees if left on while not in the pool which we did during the day while we were hiking. We would book again. Thanks!!

We loved our stay at Wendy and Colin’s gorgeous home. The views are breathtaking and feed the soul — sky, water, cliffs and horizon as far as you can see. The home is modern and has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. We found it easy to drive to our destinations including some of the most incredible hikes we’ve been on, the exquisite gardens at Monte, and the pools at Porto Moniz. For us the quiet location was divine. Great restaurants nearby and we even caught a car rally. Thank you so much!

This property has everything you need and the views are just breathtaking. There are so many little areas to hangout, the gardens are beautiful, the smell of the lavender and jasmine is wonderful! There’s an amazing hike right from the property. The jacuzzi was a must every night! Really, just amazing.

This property is an absolute dream! It’s incredibly beautiful with everything you need. The hosts are extremely helpful and very responsive with any questions or issues. The location a little drive from most restaurants, stores, and larger towns, so keep that in mind if you want to be centrally located—but the location is so gorgeous you may be perfectly content not leaving! This is an incredible property and I couldn’t recommend it more!
