Great value, spotless in excellent location
This is my 3rd stay at the best 3-star hotel in Calpe.
Apart from it's excellent location close to the bus stop to town & the coach station, it is spotlessly clean, has a small fridge, Wifi & a few English channels on the small TV in the bedroom.
The shower en-suite is very well planned with added extras like a bidet & a hairdryer. It's best packing your own toiletries I.e. shampoo & conditioner. The shampoo at the hotel is more suitable as a body wash. The soap would have been better scented with lemon or coconut.
The dining room offers a very nice large breakfast buffet with no lighter alternatives.
I headed for town by bus in bad weather for my morning coffee & Tomato tostada.
The lounge has a large TV screen with 2 computers, a drinks machine, a good selection of books & children's play area.
The dining area seemed rather stark. Pretty colourful tablecloths with ornamental decorations would improve the ambience.
The lounge seemed to be rarely used. Perhaps soft background music, a rack for Spanish, English & German newspapers & pictures of that beautiful area would create a sense of homeliness?
It's convenient situated close to a few excellent restaurants, the tourist train, the beach & promenade; it is also close to the marina, the Ifach , within easy walking distance to La Fossa beach.
All in all, the Porto Hotel is highly reommended for its great location, helpful staff & high standards of cleanliness.

Très bon emplacement, mais pas de parking à cette époque de l'année il n'y a pas de difficulté pour en trouver autour de l'établissement. En période haute ???
Pour le reste c'est confortable c'est propre et l'accueil est sympa.

Pros:Siistit, kivat huoneet. Sijainti hyvä. Aaamiainen erinomainen.
Cons:Huone liian kylmä. Tyynyt olivat huonoja. Jotkut asiakaspalvelutiskellä olivat tylyjä.
Pidin huoneen siisteydestä ja varustuksesta. Hotelli sijaitsi mukavan lähellä rantaa ja satamaa. Ehkä hieman liian syrjässä ns. Calpen keskustasta.
Henkilökunta oli osittain oikein mukavaa ja palveluhenkistä, mutta jotkut olivat tylyjä ja vastasivat kysymyksiin nihkeästi.
Aamiainen oli erinomainen.
Hotel avec vu sur le port, restaurant très proches, et à quelques centaines de mètres de la promenade de la plage.
