I didn't know what to expect when booking this hotel as this holiday was a last minute plan. But I will definitely try to book this hotel again, it was clean in a great location and pieceful. Fully recommend staying here.

Loved the quiet haven away from the busy beach and shopping area. Loved the huge mix of European guests. Loved the generous breakfast selection. Loved the fact there was no daytime entertainment and the evenings were very low key. Staff could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend this little gem.

Superb excellent hotel! Fantastic location.
Fantastic hotel and great location to both the beach and all of the bars, restaurants and numerous shopping on the main street. This is a superb hotel with great staff, and I thank each staff member for such an amazing service and great trip. Service with a smile and super friendly in all of their efforts. The condition of the rooms is very tired and in need of an update, although clean and bathroom was of high standard. Daily cleaning of room could have included a mop or good sweep to take away sand. The walls are thin, kept awake by next room who were up all night having an early morning flight, with a lot of noise caused by beds which scrape along floor. This hotel finds itself between being an adult only and a family hotel and ends up not catering that well for either in terms facilties, with older adults at pool being continually annoyed by children and staff telling children they can't jump in pool or throw a ball. The pool is small and most of it too deep for none swimmers. All staff were very attentive and friendly at all times, they all worked very hard. The pancake lady was just lovely. The breakfast was varied and mostly good , although bought and used own butter as the butter provided was awful. Only tried evening meal once, it was very nice but a little expensive, especially when children from 12 have to pay for full price adult meal.

A very pleasurable stay!
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The hotel was very comfortable, the food was varied and very good, the staff were wonderful and the pool was perfect. Can’t wait to come back.

We were on a half board basis and the food was exceptional. The staff were all so friendly and polite. Lovely walking distance to town for plenty of bars and restaurants and the beach. A little splash slide by the chikdrens pool would be amazing.

The hotel is lovely and relaxing area around the pool. Not much entertainment provided and none at all on the weekend in August was surprising- Bar staff very attentive and friendly and Matty on reception desk has to get a special mention always so helpful and friendly.What we didnt like was the beds were uncomfortable and as our room was on 1st floor room 105 the noise every morning from early with the maids above dragging furniture was really hard to be woken every day this way. .

Overall was alright , but don't expect much from the staff. The description on hotels.com isn't correct ! no free car park belong to the hotel. You can park in a free council park 5 mins walk from the hotel if you find a place ! No grantee , the staff basically said NO to us to park the car and not even given us a chance for 1 day to park at there car park! They tricked us and gave us a room with a small window no balcony or patio as per description ! I paid £125 per night ! I had to complain the second day of my stay as the room did;t meet the expectations, luckily it was resolved and they gave us a balcony room ! Also, our first morning I woke up on screaming of the room service lady at 8:30 ! shouting Sorry sorry inside the room ...... ( it felt like a jock ! nothing like 4 star hotel) I am ain't picky person and always happy with basics as you get what you pay for ! if you have a choice try somewhere else ... We enjoyed it after changing the room and kind of worked out ourselves the car parking etc ..... The breakfast was alright , some variety but same every day .... overall found it good .

They claimed to be VIP but did not offer anything during the check-in. Instead, they sent us to the small facility with four floors without an elevator. We had to carry all our heavy pieces of luggage using the stairs. The room was very smelly (like old and dirty). There is nothing of VIP hotel in that room. Location is great. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Great Value - stayed in one of the apartments
I was warmly welcomed by Christian on arrival and accommodated in an apartment across the road, 20 metres from the main hotel. There was also a beautiful atrium in the entrance with tropical plants and small ponds with fish, and downstairs a large private pool for the apartment guests (12 apartments in all). I was given a parking space underground with a wireless entry key which saved so much hassle as I was travelling around during my stay. The beach, shops and restaurants were only 200 metres away, and I used the main hotel facilities. I booked bread an breakfast and the choice at breakfast time was incredible. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful in all respects, and the hotel was super value for money!

The Wifi is next to useless unless you are close to the reception area and they use very old fashioned logins with bits of paper code for each unit. The breakfast is fantastic, but the eggs are precooked so are not fresh, but the rest of the breakfast food is great. The hotel makes no effort to promote their Restaurant for dinner or provide guests with a menu outside of the restaurant. Smoking is permitted at any location around the pool making it impossible for non smokers to sit away from the smokers and it would be easy for them to segregate this large area. Pool is great though. This hotel is predominantly geared for German tourists who smoke a lot.

Peaceful hotel close to beach and everything else
I think we may have been the only English people staying at the hotel which was a nice surprise. Despite our very basic Spanish and even less German all the staff went out of their way to make an effort to make sure we were well looked after. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel garden and pool areas were great to relax in so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast options were very good and the lovely lady who cooked the eggs and squeezed the oranges was a real character. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and professional. We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend this hotel and resort to anyone.

Lovely hotel
We had a great time at Grupotel Nilo. The hotel is nicely furnished & the decor is inviting. The staff are very friendly & welcoming. The food is excellent & there is plenty of choice. The swimming pool looked inviting but it was a little too cold to give it a try. The hotel is located up a side road from tbe main street in Paguera and was in a quiet location but was handy for all amenities and local buses. The staff speak mainly Spanish & German but this didn't cause any problems, a smile is understandable in any language! All in all a great holiday, many thanks to all the staff.
