Enjoy the public beach (it is rocky) only 1/8 mile from the cottage to launch and reclaim your boat, kayaks, jet skis, or to just enjoy being around nature. Plenty of space in yard to park your boat/jet skis. Catch your big fish (bass tournament fishermen love our location/accommodations), duck hunt, turkey hunt, enjoy boating or just relax at the cottage. **House is NOT on the water - pictures shown are of beach area which is located 1/8 of a mile from the house**.

Quaint studio (500 sq ft) offering full bathroom, comfortable queen sized bed, new sectional couch (Jan 2023), futon, blackout curtains, fully stocked eat in kitchen with all amenities to enjoy your getaway to KY Lake and Birdsong Creek.

Inside you will find a clean environment for your stay. We offer plush bath towels, new sheets, new pillows, and a linen closet stocked with extra blankets/sheets/towels.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook your favorites (microwave, toaster oven, 16 in. convection oven for pizza/baking, griddle for breakfast, blender, crock pot, 3 hot plates for boiling water, frying eggs/bacon, etc.) We also provide coffee filters, sugar and creamer, oil, salt and pepper.

There is a full size refrigerator and an outdoor grill (bring charcoal). Be sure to bring your own food when you come as the nearest grocery store is a 15-20 minute drive.

House is located in a dead end cul-de-sac. In the neighborhood there are 4 other houses, each on two acre lots. We have 2 houses on our lot. We may or may not be at our other house when you are here. If we are, we barely see you, as we have all of our activities on the back deck of our house. Of course, if you need us, we are right there and more than happy to help! Otherwise, we do not bother you.

We have blazingly fast Fiber Optic cable and a Smart TV. You have access to YouTube TV. If you would like to stream other services, please bring your passwords.

BUSINESS TRAVELERS: This location is about 20 minutes to major corporations such as Chemours, Matheson Gas, Scepter, OxyChem, etc. We offer 100 Mbps speed internet.

GOATS: We have a unique opportunity for you to observe goats doing their goat thing. They are contained in their pasture by an electric fence to ensure they stay and do their job of keeping the grass mowed. Please note that we do have signs in the yard stating that the fence is electronic. While the fenced-in pasture is a good 50ft.+ away from the house itself, we do advise that you watch your children and pets when outside.

PET FEE for Pets and special note for Pet Parents:
Fee for animals that stay with you in the cottage is $70 per stay. We really want to remain pet friendly for our cottage so we have a few rules that MUST be followed. No more than 2 dogs under 60 lbs., must stay OFF furniture/bed and be kenneled when alone to ensure furniture remains as it is in the pictures. We do have access to a public beach and think your dogs will love playing in the lake. We provide extra beach towels in the closet to dry them off before taking them back into the cottage.
