The fishing village of Camogli is a relaxed yet sophisticated vacation resort for Italians and you get the impression that life here is lived as it was a hundred years ago. You can also buy delicacies at the market here every Wednesday. The village is the perfect starting point for various hikes to the completely isolated, tiny village of San Fruttuoso. Peace and quiet reign here, as there is no road leading to San Fruttuoso. There is a Benedictine monastery, two small restaurants and an even smaller bay with a rocky bottom and azure blue sea.
