The room was clean, the a/c worked well, more towels were supplied when asked, there was hot water and the place was very quiet. The staff was exceptionally friendly and, Jose, the owner/manager went out of his way to ensure I had a good experience staying at the hotel. The hotel is located in a safe area in downtown close to the plaza (Zocolo) and the Cathedral, which is beautiful. Overall, my experience was very pleasant.
Small hotel, but our room was very spacey and a had a comfortable bed. Wifi was good. The only (minor) complaint is that it was very easy to knock your ankles silly on the bed frame. The hotel is 5 - 10 minutes walking from the town center. We liked the town very much. It is quite with plenty of good food opportunities. The hotel does not have any parking but street parking is no problem and there is a guarded parking lot across the street. Hotel personnel is very friendly, efficient and helpful
Small & quaint, perfectly located, friendly staff!
I really enjoyed my stay here. Small and quaint hotel but well equipped and kept by really friend staff! Excellent location to explore the beautiful historic center of Campeche. I would definitely come back and stay here. Thanks!
Stayed for 1 night in a 1st floor room near the back courtyard. The breakfast is very good and the staffs are friendly and helpful. It did take a while for my credit card payment to go through on the mobile card reader as for some reason they didn't charge directly through hotels.com. If they can change that (as it hugely decreases the possibility of credit card fraud and data breach), it would be even better.
LOVED this place, Cynthia and Jose were delightful. A cosy boutique hotel with chic compact rooms. Very clean white sheets and nice modern bathroom. Small but cute. Air con new and worked and a non-noisy fan. It was very welcoming from the minute we stepped in to the minute we left. Felt like I was staying with Cynthia. We had breakfast in the terrace which was all served in a very personal way. Took a little while but it was delicious, one dish per person so we had eggs and sausage scrambled with beans, one had tortilla thingys and other had hot cakes. With coffee tea and water. Lovely courtyard with spanish tiles. Super friendly and helped with tourist questions. Right on 57th street 5 minutes walk from the main square right in the Old Town so handly for all the CENTRO HISTORICO stuff. We got there on a Sunday so missed most of the recommended activiites - Pirate Tour, Legend Tour ; (. The people at the square who run the tourist trolley tours were super unfriendly and we went back a few times but never enough people to run it. They should change jobs - so miserable. Luckily at Balamku we were alway greeted with a smile. DELIGHTFUL and we WILL BE BACK. Our kids loved the place especially Cynthia, we even bought some local honey there. These guys KNOW how to make visitors feel at home THANK YOU and WELL DONE. Its hard to find genuine service like this these days. TOP marks. Only extra feedback is to boost that internet signal : )

Small boutique nothing fancy but ok for few nights
The hotel is a small boutique, the room is ok but doesn't have space other than the beds.
Air conditioner and fan in the room.
Bathroom is very simple. Nothing fancy.
The staff are very friendly... And the location is very good.

Piccolo hotel
Piccolo Hotel, molto basico, ma in posizione centrale
Una excelente experiencia, su ubicación excelente, el trato de su personal espectacular, súper amables, un hotel sencillo pero muy tranquilo para descansar, el desayuno sencillo pero delicioso. Volveremos a hospedarnos.
