We enjoyed the location. Close to civic and the Murrumbateman wineries. The reception staff weren’t as friendly or efficient as I expected. Although check in was 3pm our apartment wasn’t ready until 3.30pm. No apology was forthcoming. I’d booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. What we got was a 1 bedroom apartment with a motel room adjacent. I’d also requested for the sofa bed to be made available. The sofa was set up but it made the room even more cramped and difficult to move around. And all the furniture was just shoved around the room randomly. We were there for 3 nights and we only had the room made up once. There was no cafe in the hotel that was open or had staff during our stay. Having said that, we had a ball in Canberra. We will come back for the October long weekend next year.

Property and service ( particularly Kevin ) were great. However we had a fire alarm go off at 10pm and would have appreciated having someone from the organisation to attend and take charge of the people milling around without any leadership

Ive stayed here quite a number of times over the years & like the property & room size and function. The ability of staff to provide a tax invoice at check-in, even when your credit card has been charged is disappointing. They email they suggest which will be sent with the tax invoice has not arrived 24 hours after check-out. Poor response. The rooms are becoming tired and may need repainting/touch up (310)

Comfortable but beginning to show wear and tear. Shower isn’t great as water tends to get all over bathroom floor due to design. Our room smelt a little musty and there were signs of possible recent issues with water from the bathroom wetting the carpet. Asked for our room to be made up and although wet towels were replaced the bed wasn’t made. Not clear when booking that parking in the hotels carpark is an extra $15/night. Never been charged by any other Canberra hotel for parking, a bit unnecessary as there is heaps of room in their own basement garage.

Plenty of living space and good kitchen in a nice quiet location away from busy Northbourne Ave but close enough to walk to the tram. Breakfast is overpriced for what you get. Better to go to the Atrium in the Pavilion next door. But don’t go to the Atrium for dinner. Food is average and service is worse.

Very happy with this place overall. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment (2A, 3C), so were a little surprised that we were only given 4 towels. Due to our check-in time and events planned we didn’t bother chasing and extra towel and just made do. Similarly, we weren’t given any bedding for our youngest (2), so luckily we had brought our porta with us so he had somewhere to sleep. Finally, upon check in we were advised there was an additional charge of $15/day for parking - which was not disclosed at the time of booking. Despite this we were very happy with our stay and will definitely stay here again, however will be sure to clarify these things first.
