Should you stay in Avenue hotel
The hotel breakfast was good with variety. Room size is good, except the lighting was terrible as I hate white light. You can mainly use the floor or desk lamp which has warm light. Overall is good stay, it can be better if the TV offer chrome cast. Will I stay here again? If the rate is good, “Yes”. Otherwise this price point you may stay in a newer hotel near Canberra centre.

Perfect for a Canberra stay
The Avenue is an excellent choice for a stay in Canberra. It is centrally located, close to many restaurants and cultural sites, and has good undercover parking. The apartments are spacious and well fitted out with a good-sized fridge and other appliances. Staff are always helpful and friendly.

I like all, but the restraunt. It opens for lunch at 12pm. Hotel check out time is 11am. People like to eat something before going to the airport, but they can't. I ordered a plate of fisher and chips. The fish is burned, the coating and the fish is seprated. The food is so oily.

Excellent. Great staff, close to shops and transport. Pleasant surprise was the washing machine to do our laundry on a 4 week tour. Balcony to sit out, 2 tv's and a living room with a kitchen.
