This property has a lot of potential and could have a lot of charm. It is very well situated, the pool and dining area is very nice. The staff was great. However, when we got there the owner had just set in animals, turkeys, chickens and a pig which was situated just bellow our room. The smell of the farm got into the room. Our family was disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay here! The property is beautiful. Stayed in honeymoon suite and was very affordable. Didn’t use the heart shaped tub so can’t speak to that-but shower was massive!Located at km 15.5 on Ruta de los Cenotes. Multiple amazing cenotes within walking distance. Recommend “7 Bocas” and “Verde Lucero”. We stayed when there was only 1 other long-term tenant present. Felt like we were in the jungle with the place to ourselves for a couple days. He was a big help navigating the particulars of the place. Staff didn’t speak English, but our rudimentary knowledge of Spanish got the job done. Owner was an expat, we met once. Was friendly, and said she didn’t like to be seen as “the owner” which was a nice change from many places. f you’re wanting to head into town- recommend having your own vehicle as it’s a 400 peso cab ride into Puerto Morelos. Found someone to take us back to property for 300. That would add up quickly if doing multiple times. Simple menu-breakfast was included. Dinners can be had for 150-200 pesos I believe. Was 2 options, 1 at lower price, 1 at higher. That said-we heard changes are coming to the food services soon. (Hi Bill!) Chickens everywhere free range. Pigs in pens. Geese, ducks, guinea pig, hedgehog, multiple friendly dogs. Lovely pool area and lounging zone. Hammocks and beach loungers. Would return for sure, but would bring a rental car next time.

It was terrible .. trust me one hell of scary place .rooms smells like dump yard and u are not alone. U have company with spiders cockrocahes ants inside and wild animals outside ur room 🙏🙏.. the location is really long from city and feels like ancient forest. Trust me dont go for the low price . Even if they offer for free u need to consider twice .. we stayed hardly 4hrs at the place in 4days ..

I cant say enough good things about this beautiful place. Melanie is incredibly helpful and friendly (and speaks perfect english for those who need that), she has amazing recomendations for things to do in the area. They offer home cooked meals which were AMAZING, probably one of the best meals we had in mexico. Beto is the concierge and was so good at making you feel cared for at all times, and was also hilarious. We felt right at home, and the surrounding jungle was abslutley gorgeous - the sounds at night are straight out of a movie. There are turkeys and pigs and the friendliest dogs in the world on the property. We would absolutley stay here again. The only thing we could complain about would be we didnt end up using the giant soaker tub which we were excited for as there was no warm water, but everything else was so great it hardly mattered. If you are looking for a romantic place to get away from the beach and bustle, Melanie and Beto will make you feel like one of the family.

An ACTUAL hidden gem
Blissfully quiet and unique. After a few days in Playa Del Carmen we found this perfect little slice of paradise in the jungle near Puerto Morelos. Decompression initiated! Melanie and the staff were amazing. They guided us to all the right cenotes and helped us make all the right choices during our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. If you are used to 5 star accommodations this may not suit you. You are truly in the jungles of Mexico. The bird life is amazing. The food is simple and delicious with a truly Mayan flair. We made fast friends with her two dogs. The place is ecologically friendly and the range of travellers we met was diverse and so friendly. The pool is crisp and clean. Perfect to beat the heat and ease the strain of travel. I cannot recommend this place enough. Just dumb luck that we found it. 25 minutes from the beach, and unlike Morelos, nearly mosquito free thanks to the hundreds of nearby cenotes.

Nestled in the jungle just 20 minutes from Puerto morelos, you would have no idea this little villa was nestled away down a dirt road off the main highway. This place is a serious jewel in the rough. The hosts are very down to earth and extremely kind and sweet. Our roon was a basic room but contained everything we needes. The villas look absolutely amazing. The good is great, they have turkeys, chickens and ducks to provide fresh eggs for the gueats. The quiet is unbelievable. Well worth a stay!

There was mold smell everywhere. It is a hostile situation with a common area it is not a hotel. Melanie was very complaining and not very attentive to her guests whatsoever. The staff would make their breakfast around 7 a.m. and gather and have conversations as there is no rest for the morning. Yes she said breakfast was served every morning but careful if you don't want a banana and some white toast be prepared to pay for your breakfast. Also it is not a restaurant kitchen it is used by the guests as well as people and it is not clean I went to get some jam and the jar was full of mold. Also the morning that they made pancakes not real pancakes mix the syrup on the table had bugs in it. Straight out of the fridge. There was Burns stains all over the curtains in my room as well as a large leak in the bathtub sprayer. The biggest thing was that it's advertised as a safe place for families children and pets it is not my son stepped on a rusty nail on a bridge that resembles a play structure. And we were not even care for at that point. There is no Spa there is no restaurant the bed was comfortable. Cuz I guess I felt like I had to say something nice. Melanie however refused to accept any responsibilities for the conditions of our stay. I would not recommend this place whatsoever there are other places in the jungle not far with much much nicer accommodation and management staff.

We got to Playa and the Budget rental car did not have a car for us. Melonie, the property owner, was able to connect us with a car in about an hour! She helped us also plan a snorkeling excursion and gave us advice on cenotes to visit. The food was great! The people were awesome. Staying in the jungle off the beaten path was a great experience for the entire family. We will definitely be back!!!

We mistakenly bought a night because google maps showed hotel by the beach when in reality, it was about 20 minutes away from the beach, aside from that, staff was very friendly. Something many people may like about this place is that it is located in the forest

Communicated with staff on pre arrangements and asked about how to find the hotel. Hotel returned an email that said not to use google maps and they would send me directions. I followed up with 3 requests asking for directions. Search gave no info either. We ended up having to find another hotel. Poor communication.

En el hotel no hay opciones de alimentos. La habitación tenía una parrilla de inducción pero no había trastes para cocinar. Ninguna posibilidad de buscar opciones de comida se no llevas auto porque está alejado de la zona urbana. Un mal olor persistente por el corral de las aves y los cerdos muy cerca de las habitaciones. El cuarto bien, con lo básico para descansar.

Tuvimos varios problemas con el jacuzzi, no salía agua y cuando salía no era caliente, en la ducha no había agua caliente ni templada. Las ventanas no tiene en su totalidad como cerrarse para dar privacidad y la ubicación está bastante alejada de los puntos clave, probablemente para alguien que vaya a estarse solo en el hotel puede servirle pero no era nuestro caso

Excellente option! Cet hôtel est une pépite cachée dans la jungle. L’accueil a été flexible (réception en personne à presque minuit). La chambre était très fonctionnelle (avec un espace cuisine) et confortable. Le cadre est magnifique et magique. Il invite à la détente et au ressourcement. Une belle option pour être au contact de la nature.

Kun en halv times kørsel fra lufthavn, så for os belejligt at komme til sent om aftenen og at tage fra igen tidligt om morgenen, Vi var her i november måned og der var ikke andre end os. Det ligger smukt i skoven og er nok hyggeligt i højsæson når der er vand i poolen og området er mere klart til at modtage gæster. Vi brugte dog kun stedet til en enkelt overnatning hver vej, så det betød ikke noget for os. Der var en jordslået lugt i vores værelse, men ellers var det fint og stort med et stort badeværelse og køkken så man selv kunne lave en kop kaffe eller lidt mad.
