We had a wonderful time! All and all the Excellence lives up to its name. The food was very good. The pools were chilly. The staff was wonderful!

This hotel was beautiful and the staff were really amazing!! The only thing we thought they needed more of was things to do. If you want a quiet hotel though this is it!

This resort is amazing. Every employee is extremely kind and helpful. The resort is gorgeous. Most of the restaurants are delicious (basmati was not authentic, the rest were 10/10). I would stay here again, and will recommend to all of my friends to stay here.

The property was lovely, staff all friendly. Food was good guality and variety. Very difficult to find a chair after 9 am. Many chairs sat empty all morning with towels and a magazine. Stated policy is staff will collect items after an hour. We did not see that in action. If not enforcing no towel game, provide more chairs. I wouldn't let this stop a return visit, but it is annoying.

2nd time at this Excellent Riviera Cancun property in the last 2 years for my wife and I. Consistently great and did not disappoint. Friendly staff and high quality food. Well managed facilities, organized and clean. While not the newest, there have been upgrades and all very put together. We will be booking for a 3rd time!

Great place to stay. Several restaurants options on site. Dining requires no tank tops for men. Loved the French restaurant here! Also loved that they offer pant rentals for men for this place. Staff was so friendly! We loved all of them!!!

My wife and I loved our stay and will be coming back! The service was great and the food amazing, especially the vegetarian options and their ability to go above and beyond for specific dietary preferences! We loved how quiet it was throughout the day and night... we slept so well! The variety of restaurants was great, and even after two weeks, we still had not tried everything. A special thank you to Adrian and Rodolfo at Spice and the lazy river staff who were wonderful everyday! We thank you all for making our stay a great one!

The resort was much smaller than represented online. The dining options had menu items missing in almost every restaurant and the wait times were very long in a half full restaurant. Everything closed down early for an adults only resort. Room service took one hour or more than quoted every time we ordered. Property was clean and we appreciated that.

The food was pretty good. Lots of seaweed on the beach. Unfortunately this is something out of their control, but would highly recommend combing the beach each morning to reduce it. The only thing that bothered us was we couldn’t eat together as a group of 8ppl. They would seat side-by-side but refused to push the tables together. When you’re paying as much as you are, it’s a little disappointing for them to not accommodate that simple request.

This was my 2nd Excellence resort and it fell short in comparison to the Excellence Oyster Bay. The food and overall upkeep of the property (fountains and pools) needs improvement. However, the spa lives up to the name just as it did in Jamaica!
