Very disappointed. I’m mad we stayed at this property. The construction was obnoxious and such an inconvenience. We didn’t know there would be construction on the pool OUTSIDE OF OUR ROOM. So loud and so ugly to look at. We would’ve chosen a different property had we known. Also the food was so gross. I’m not even picky but it was terrible. Me and my husband didn’t like most of the food there.

Did not know when we book that the property was under construction. Staff did everything to accommodate us. We were especially pleased with our Butler Jessica and will visit the resort again because of her excellent customer service!!! Once we got to our renovated room it was Great, they are renovating this place so it is noisy, but i bet Once its done it's gonna be a greater place, other then the construction this place was perfect, great food and friendly people....

The main pool was closed for remodeling with nonstop noise from construction crew yet no compensation was offered. The hotel is very outdated and the food is not great. The concierge tried to trick me into believing we would get a certificate for free future stay for the inconvenience when really it was to try to to get me to go to the breakfast to listen to the timeshare spill. I did not accept therefore the certificate was not honored even though she said it was for “the inconvenience”.

We had a great stay at the Grand Park Royal - it was just what we needed. We enjoyed the different restaurant options, and our Butler Miguel was incredibly attentive to our needs and requests. The entertainment was fun, the pool foam party karaoke were highlights. We were a little disappointed to find out that the main pool pizza restaurant were completely under renovation, as well as many of the apartments onsite. The construction noise was a lot during the day, both in the rooms and on the beach. The Adult Only pool was the only pool available. We were not disappointed in the Renovations themselves, but the fact that no one had told us or prepared us for it. We expected to have access to the main pool and pizza, but it was completely under construction All in all, a great place and great service. Lots of good people go to this resort, we are glad that we did too :)

I paid extra for the swim up room and when I arrived they said they couldn't give it to me because my son wasn't 18 but it wasn't noted anywhere prior. The main pool was under construction so we were stuck mini a tiny pool in the back of the hotel and again it isn't noted anywhere that the main pool is under construction. Horrible experience.

Disappointing Experience Despite Nice Amenities Our experience at this hotel was disappointing. It looks stunning online, but we were surprised upon arrival. We paid extra for a swim-up room, only to find heavy construction right in front of our room that woke us up every morning. Despite our complaints, they refused to change our room. After flying in tired and hungry from the States, the front desk staff sat us down to sell us additional services for over an hour, even though we repeatedly said we weren’t interested and just wanted to rest and eat. The bellhop mishandled our airport shuttle reservation, and when we asked for help, they tried to upsell us on an overpriced taxi instead of resolving the issue. We ended up booking an Uber ourselves. The concierge’s dismissive response—"wait in line"—was particularly frustrating. To be fair, the service staff, such as the waiters, were fantastic, and the food, amenities, and overall service were good. However, the front desk and sales team ruined what could have been a great stay. I recommend looking elsewhere; there are plenty of better options in the area.

The food was terrible and almost everybody in my party got sick with diarrhea and vomiting. They were remodeling parts of the hotel and it was noisy the whole day. It was a very stressful visit.

I really like this hotel, it's my second visit, the first was with friends from the University and now with my family. It's a beautiful hotel, delicious food in all the restaurants. Excellent service.
