I loved the staff, the cleaning of all areas, the music andd the beaty of the environment. Because I am an elderly with mobility and health issues, the access from my room to the restaurants, swimming pool, beach and other areas, required to take long stairs because there is no elevator. Still they have long ramps, and staff available to assist with a wheel chair, after three days using it, I felt unsure to take them and decided to move around slowly and carefully. The view of all around wa beautiful, the staff very good, the food was not what I like, non GMO, non chemical and organic, but it tasted good. I would recommend to incorporate some organic, non chemical juices, food and beverages and more typical fruits. I strongly recommend Nyx Hotel for young and healthy peole. For me, overall, it was a good experience.

This Resort is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The Rooms are huge!! The staff is super friendly and get to know you personally. The Deck restaurant- the food was really good. This restaurant has a menu that changes every day. If you are here on Monday (Asian night) you must try the chicken teriyaki. (sooo good) If you go for lunch, you must try the calamari rings if you are into seafood. The Hibachi place-food was great the staff super friendly-the only con for me was that the reservation was too late (10:00pm) we had a long day and would have liked an earlier dinner other than that, food was great Chianti-Italian restaurant- very good! if you go try the lasagna and the calamari. The portions are huge!! Please keep in mind the specialty restaurants (Italian Hibachi) have limit to how many days you can dine and also is only available if you stay longer than 3-4 nights I believe. You must reserve prior to eating. The hotel has computer in the lobby where you can reserve your dinners. Rooms- Rooms are HUGE! They are supper clean too. I love modern decor, and the rooms are very modern! Staff- the staff is super friendly and welcoming they get to know you since it is a smaller resort. I told them it was my bday and they decorated my room with balloons and gave us a bottle of wine and a piece of cake (at NO charge!!) I was very impressed since most hotels charge for this. The beach-the ocean is super blue!! So pretty! I am coming back next year!!!

This is a small hotel so I was a little worried I would get bored staying for a week. If you go here with the understanding that there is not much to do at the actual resort you will be fine. This is within walking distance of a shopping mall and the Cancún Ferris wheel so that was good. The beach was nice and we got front row chairs everyday and we went after breakfast everyday. The food was AMAZING for an all inclusive. Best all inclusive food I have had in Mexico. Dining options are limited and there is only a buffet at breakfast but the restaurants food was great and quick. I would say this is not a resort for kids as there isn’t anything to do. I would definitely come back. We had a great relaxing time

I loved staying here. The hotel is not huge which is really nice so not crazy busy, the perfect amount of people, I never felt crowded at all. I was so pleasantly surprised that the all inclusive did not mean buffet for every meal. You get to sit down with a menu and be served everything but breakfast. One thing I’ll say is they ask about allergies every time you go to eat but they don’t actually do anything/ advise you what is safe to eat. For example at the Italian restaurant we put my allergies in the reservation but given they brought out bread with sesame seeds I figured I should mention my allergies (nuts and sesame) before dessert. At that point our server went to check and I couldn’t eat most of the deserts. Not a huge deal because I am cautious but it is important for other people to know. The ocean was so beautiful, not to mention being served margaritas in front of the ocean. When we arrived our room was upgraded as well and it was newly renovated and gorgeous. There was a problem with a slight power outage one day but most places had generators, we noticed our room still didn’t have working lights but all other power was working, we stopped to the front desk to let them know, then stopped by the pool to have a drink and by the time we got back to the room they had already sent someone in and fixed it. Overall we had a fantastic stay and every staff member was so friendly, I absolutely recommend.

The best food was the Italian restaurant. The beach was lovely. We did have to switch rooms twice but they upgarded us to a master suite do that was very nice. It's on the smaller end with limited dining options but the food was decent just wish there were more options.

This poace was clean, right on the beach as stated. Not a catfish of a hotel. I loved it! Theres a pool, the beach, lovely hammocks. The food can be a bit bland, but its made in bulk, and there could have been more activities. But i when i stayed (Nov. 20 to 25th) it was a bit slow demographic wise. Lots of older adults. So im not sure about the fun youll have with kids here but it was a great location for all else! Love love loved it!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Nyx Hotel Cancun from November 20th to 30th, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it! From the moment we arrived, check-in was quick and smooth. We stayed in the Sunset Suite with a beautiful view of the lagoon. While we were offered an upgrade to a beachfront room, we opted to stick with the lagoon view since we didn’t spend much time in the room during our stay. The room itself was simple but comfortable, with two queen beds and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Our room was just one floor above the main lobby, where most of the live entertainment took place in the evenings. While we could hear the music from our room, it never disrupted our stay and only added to the lively atmosphere of the hotel. What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding service. Edguardo and Julio took care of us at the restaurants, offering excellent service with a smile. Estafina, the front hostess, always greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. Mauricio and Daniel, who worked at the beach, were fantastic—always on hand to provide food and drinks whenever we needed. And Martha, our housekeeper, was incredibly thoughtful, always checking in to see if we needed anything or if our room should be cleaned. While Nyx is a smaller resort compared to other all-inclusive hotels, its level of service is unmatched.

Love food from this hotel, but its most for like old people. Only one pool was working and they had some areas under construction. Elevator was extremely small. And they had some electricity issues for more then 5 hours amd it was extremely hot the whole time

Cancun Experience We have been back to this property 7 times since 2016. The first time we were so impressed that we continued to rave to others and come back, even bringing people with us. After 2021 this property has gone down in both lack of QUALITY but also QUANTITY! ISSUE 1: Upon checking in, they took us to a Superior Suite room (that was NOT the one I specifically called ahead for) away to someone else. When we got upset and went back to complain the blonde girl at the front desk was rude to my husband. ISSUE 2: Our air conditioning was out for almost two days before it started blowing cool air and someone fixed it. ISSUE 3: The sinks were horrible and the plumbing backed up with brushing our teeth. ISSUE 4: The concierge that was “supposed” to just give us the activity schedule kept following us around the resort to present something in order to get free massages. I had to be firmer than normal to say we weren’t interested. You shouldn’t have them there bothering guests they should get to choose for themselves when and what they we do. ISSUE 5: The elevators were constantly not working before and after a huge rain storm on Wednesday 11/20. ISSUE 6: The pillows and bed were still horrible. We had hoped they would get between but they did not. ISSUE 7: No smoking any longer in the pool area. I get no smoking in rooms and even in the restaurants or front of the hotel, but outside? At the beach? When I’m drinking? Unacceptable. They cut me off so P1 of 2
