We have been back to this property 7 times since 2016. The first time we were so impressed that we continued to rave to others and come back, even bringing people with us. After 2021 this property has gone down in both lack of QUALITY but also QUANTITY!
ISSUE 1: Upon checking in, they took us to a Superior Suite room (that was NOT the one I specifically called ahead for) away to someone else. When we got upset and went back to complain the blonde girl at the front desk was rude to my husband.
ISSUE 2: Our air conditioning was out for almost two days before it started blowing cool air and someone fixed it.
ISSUE 3:
The sinks were horrible and the plumbing backed up with brushing our teeth.
ISSUE 4: The concierge that was “supposed” to just give us the activity schedule kept following us around the resort to present something in order to get free massages. I had to be firmer than normal to say we weren’t interested. You shouldn’t have them there bothering guests they should get to choose for themselves when and what they we do.
ISSUE 5: The elevators were constantly not working before and after a huge rain storm on Wednesday 11/20.
ISSUE 6: The pillows and bed were still horrible. We had hoped they would get between but they did not.
ISSUE 7: No smoking any longer in the pool area. I get no smoking in rooms and even in the restaurants or front of the hotel, but outside? At the beach? When I’m drinking? Unacceptable.
