We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. It definitely exceeded our expectations. They have a shuttle service to a beach club which gives access to the beach and was convenient. However, there are a few areas which could be improved. 1. Pool water gushing and cleaning sound could be heard clearly on the 11floor. 2. There should be a shuttle service for the guests from the main security booth to the hotel lobby. The biggest positive was the staff. They were very friendly and keen to help us out.

So the hotel is located in a place that’s really bad as basically without a taxi or uber you cannot get out of the hotel. To get to the beach you need a bus. The room had a horrible smell of sewer and all they did was spray disinfectant in the AC vents to masc the smell but did not want to change my room. They try to get you to go on a tour to try to sell you some packages in general would not recommend this property or go back to it

Extremely disappointed in this hotel. We have stayed at several Hyatts and have been extremely let down by this one. The beach club was probably the only positive thing we experienced at this resort. Despite being vantage club members, we didn't get welcome drinks and waited about an hour to check in at 8 pm. We changed for dinner to be met with all the restaurants except the buffet refusing us despite it being 2 hours before closing and the restaurant half empty One night we waited for 45 minutes before we just left & ordered room service. It was also my husband's birthday and despite me speaking to at least 3 different staff members of this hotel - we didn't get the birthday set up in our room. I wanted to do the paid birthday surprise option and was told it would be taken care of. I expressed my concerns about everything to the VIP services and he said he was going to talk with the concierge and nothing was still done. Activities were mid and all over the place. Timing of these and dinner often interfered so you're having to really pick one or the other and having to feel rushed with everything. The staff is great but it felt like a retirement home trying to keep us entertained. Cute place for pics but not worth the money! We'll be booking elsewhere for sure.

The property should have more entertainment for the adults. Roof top should have entertainment as well. The staffs was wonderful. The staff was kind. There should be a smoking area on the roof top.

Kind staff and a good variety of food. We didn’t realise there was a lunch buffet until a few days before we left as no one informed us there was any lunch available. Smaller portions at dinner for the restaurants and now we understand why. Had a lovely stay though. Rooms are large and mostly clean. The floor looked like it needed a scrub though due to the floor being wooden with scuff marks. We were informed that we would have some free gifts in our room as a complementary gift for our anniversary but on arrival there was only a banner on the door. I emailed Hyatt and no one got back to me. Also the staff at the Vantage club downstairs also didn’t apologise but just asked me to send the email I had received about it. Nothing was done. It was a disappointment. I feel like there could be more attention to detail with regards to special events etc. Also there isn’t good sound installation as we could hear people in the hallway and also people above us and people speaking on their balcony. It didn’t stop us from sleeping but could get annoying if you are a light sleeper. However apart from that everything was great. Good variety of food and entertainment and the staff are very pleasant. I think you’ll enjoy it more if you choose to upgrade to vantage as you are able to use the vantage bar and rooftop which I think was a highlight. Beds go quickly at the rooftop so it’s good to get there before 10 to get a seat or you can always reserve one if returning soon

The property isn’t fully developed yet so there are limited options for things to do. The food is pretty awful, minus the buffet breakfast. The drinks were also not very good and for the most part tasted like a cheap mixer was added to every cocktail. You also have to wake up at 7am to have a chance at getting reservations to any place for lunch or dinner. This meant that we weren’t even able to try most of the restaurants, although none of the food was very good to begin with. I was served pasta that quite literally was smushed to a paste under the sauce. Raw/unrendered steak coated in balsamic vinegar. The best food you’ll have is at the beach house, which you have to take a shuttle to get to.
