Moon Palace Cancun - All Inclusive offers 2036 air-conditioned accommodations with indoor private hot tubs and free minibar items. Rooms open to balconies. Memory foam beds feature down duvets and premium bedding. 55-inch Smart televisions come with satellite channels and pay-per-view films. Bathrooms include a separate bath and shower, bathrobes, slippers and complimentary toiletries.

This Cancun property provides complimentary wireless Internet access, with a speed of 50+ Mbps. This was a great stay with amazing views and great options like pool, water park, beach access, kids play room with movie theater, bowling etc. It was super fun. I would definitely like to go back someday. The dining options were wonderful with so many cuisines and almost all of them being super tasty! Just disliked two things: 1. Adding Jacuzzis in the rooms' living room didn't make any sense to me. Makes it difficult especially for families with kids. 2. The checkout experience was just poor. Felt like we were rushed out of the place unnecessarily. Never felt like that before in any other hotel.

The location was great. Long beach for walking, beach safe for kids. Lots of pools to use and options to lay out to sun tan. Easy to get your towel in the morning and save your spot. Lots of options to eat at pool restaurants or order by the pool. Wait times for food and drink at the pool were not long at all. The staff was so so kind and always hustling. Unfortunately we had an issue with our bags at arrival. A long line to check in, and a long line to get a shuttle. Our bags were unfortunately lost between the arrival check in and our room. To make up for it they let us have late check out (3pm) instead of 12- but even offering that - they locked us out of our room at 12 on check out day and I spent my last hour walking all the way back to the lobby to sort it out and was in a panick when they were the ones who offered to do us a favour . They must not have put that on our file :( be aware as well - at check in they try to upsell and check out is more up sell. Which would be fine but the timing is just inconvenient. You want to jsut get to your room at arrival and you want to make your flight on the departure, not have someone with a clip board asking for more with offers.

The rooms were a bit outdated especially the restrooms/ showers. All the restaurant servers were super helpful and friendly but the staff in the main lobby always seem moody and not helpful at all. The staff that is in charge of assisting with booking massages is very pushy and rude especially the ones that keep insisting to sell time shares even though they say is not a time share. I will not be going back to this resort due to the receptionists attitudes, the beach is pretty dirty/muddy and the resort didn't really have any music playing in the pools. The pools in the other resorts always have music playing and have a good atmosphere but the pools here were not great and the pool bars closed at 6pm daily.

PROS: * Courteous staffs * Great Food options * Great events/shows for Kids and Adults * Neat and Tidy places everywhere * Got One-day pass for Grand resort despite not booking that resort CONS: * Other than all-inclusive option, products/services are unfairly expensive * Continuous wedding events/loud post-wedding parties ruining the calm evening experience we expect * Long wait time for buggy cars * Relentless sales pitches for memberships gives overwhelming commericial feel Note: Not happy with expedia's abstract listing of moon palace resorts without clear explanations around different resort options 1) Nizuc resort Vs.
