Staff were uniformly polite and helpful, though they didn't always seem to have the latest information. The room and public areas were kept very clean and tidy. The king-size bed in our room was very comfortable. The room itself was generous-sized. Great balcony with lagoon and ocean views. The food was uneven-- we had some great meals, we had a couple of bad meals, and we had a lot of mediocre meals. Beer selection was disappointing. Margaritas left an artificial sweetener aftertaste as did most of the "fruit juices" served in the restaurants. Swimming pools were pleasant with plenty of poolside seating-- some in the sun and some in the shade. It was inconvenient to do much outside the resort-- not much in walking distance, though the public bus stops right in front and the fare is less than $1 USD per person.

Visiting from Texas, upon arriving service was horrible alwasys trying to sell you something, excursions, timeshare etc, I'm sorry, but food was not good at all, beverges were averege as well, hotel was under constraction I could hear noices at all times, definitely not a Karen, but never never never again.

The food was poor especially at the Italian restaurant that you needed reservations for. The sushi place was pretty decent but it's outside by the pools. The pillows smelled of mildew and made me feel gross. It was not great at all.

The property had great rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and multiple pool areas. The drawbacks are that you have to climb down multiple sets of stairs to access the beach and the food selection in the La Paloma buffet is not as expansive.

The staff were all very attentive and friendly to our family. The resort is beautiful and there is enough to do yet not overwhelming. Making reservations for dinner was tricky, but the hotel staff was able to help us out. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We all felt very safe and didn’t have any concerns in this area. Highly recommend.
