Soroa so lovely
Great area. Soroa is a beautiful area to get in touch with nature. Walked to the nearby waterfall and orchid farm. Family was welcoming and accommodating.

Great Location
This is a lovely family run Casa Particular. Jason and his family were very welcoming. It's very quiet and peaceful and really handy for the waterfalls and the orchid gardens. The breakfasts and evening meals are highly recommended. It's a little dated, but that adds to it's charm. If you like animals and nature you will like it here.

Perfecto en todos los sentidos, muy conveniente, ya que todos los lugares mas importantes están a solo un minuto de distancia. El lugar es tranquilo, limpio, muchas comodidades, mucha naturaleza, montañas, Cascadas, rios. Unas vacaciones hermosas.

ganz tolle casa mit atmo // sehr leckeres essen und hilfsbereite eigner. der wasserfall ist fußläufig zu erreichen, man fühlt sich wie auf einer ranch.

Die Unterkunft hat eine recht gute Lage. Zu Fuß ist alles noch erreichbar und der untere Eingang zum Wasserfall ist nur ca. 400m entfernt, sodass man dann hier entlang gemütlich bis zu Ortsmitte laufen kann. Das Zimmer ging hinten zum Garten hinaus mit Blick über die Kaffeeplantagen. Auf Wunsch gibt es Frühstück mit wunderbarem Kaffee und Abendessen, das auf der schönen Terrasse serviert wird. Die Familie ist sehr nett. Der Sohn spricht gut englisch und hilft gern weiter, wenn etwas benötigt wird. Ich bin sehr froh, dass wir in Soroa doch noch vorbeigekommen sind. Wir hätten etwas verpasst.

Casa mitten in der Natur
Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Mayte war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Der ältere Sohn der Familie kann Englisch sprechen, so dass eine Verständigung immer gut möglich war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und auch das Essen am Abend war lecker und eine Abwechslung zu den üblichen kubanischen Gerichten. Soroa bietet eine wunderschöne Landschaft und unheimlich viel Natur. Der einzige Minuspunkt war das benachbarte Hotel, in dem abends laute Musik lief. Nachts war es aber ruhig.
