Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This property is unique- it is old and historic with a quaint cosy feel like grandmas house. The restaurant is a plus with very good English style food and pub. The breakfast was delicious. The inn has a 3 star feel. Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is hard to compare with other hotels. It is definitely a matter of preference whether you prefer modern hotel styles or historic bed & breakfast style for your stays.
Very friendly staff.
Super accommodating and happy to help.
Lovely room, comfortable bed, clean, quiet (inside, out of their control they’re working on the roads).
Would stay here again!
Clean and comfortable room. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Not much room for clothes (no formal closet or drawers of any kind). But all in all a very nice stay.
We so enjoyed dining in the pub, and we especially loved the performance of the young guy on Tuesday night. He was amazing! The food was great, the service lovely and the ambience charming. We will return and will recommend!
We booked 5 rooms at the Georgetown Inn for a family vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant and bar are excellent and a nice convenience. The location is great, with easy access to shops, Banff, Banff National Park, Lake Louise, etc. The rooms are fairly small but comfortable. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay at Georgetown Inn again if in the area.
Cute little place. Hallways were really hot and parking is not so great. The food and service at the Inn were amazing. I could have eaten there every day.
It’s a small inn with very limited facilities. Front desk staff leaves at 10. My wife needed ice at night for her sore leg, no phones in room, just one security number given on paper. Room was very small with a window AC and sink right inside the room. Mattress was smaller than the wooden kind bed, I hit my knee on the bed frame. Not enough place to walk inside the room. Small TV was shoved into the corner. The room faced rising sun and curtains were not blackout so I would just toss in the bed from 6 am. Hello, black out curtains are so common. Amenities were ok. People try to sell cuteness as heritage. Don’t fall for it. Not worth the $300 I spent per night. More like a $150 - $175 hotel. Pictures are not telling the real story. Stay away.
