All we needed & more for a fantastic 3 night stay at Cannon Beach

I was ill during the past winter and with the promise of some nice Spring days ahead, my husband and I wanted to spend a few nights with our pup in Cannon Beach to relax and refresh. We spent several nights last summer at the Sandals resort spa suite and found that perfect for our needs so were really glad that was available for the days we planned to spend at Cannon Beach Everything I have to say about the suite is positive. The suite is tastefully decorated, the bed is wonderfully comfortable, the big soaking tub is delightful and all the basic needs for a short stay are provided. one bonus is the location. It is a short block from the Suitr to a grassy hillside where you will have a 180 degree view of the adjacent coastline,from Haystack Rock to Canno n Beach and beyond. One final comment is regarding having a pup with us. There were no problems having our “Senior” pup with us and we were so glad she was able to come along. All in all, we had a wonderful three days both years we stayed there and I would highly recommend this to any couple looking for a comfortable, enjoyable place to stay to spend a few days close to the awesome coast line in Cannon Beach!!!

Lovely little room, really liked sitting outside under the tree to see hummingbirds. Few steps further and you are on the beach with Haystack to your left. Heard and saw remnants of the local Elk herd but did not see them. Local coffee, breweries and restaurants were all wonderful. Loved all of it.

The Bathroom is spacious, My wife enjoyed the jetted tub you could read a book or watch local cable on the TV, I enjoyed the duel headed separate shower, our little Italian Greyhound mix had fun too. Our Sandals unit was pet friendly, close to the beach and provided off street parking, free wifi and local cable tv.

Property needs to be updated. The couch in the room was beat up so bad we couldn’t sit on it. With a few updates I think this little place would be nice. Right now it is just beat up. Parking is really tight. There was construction going on in the unit next door and it was really loud any time we were in the room during the day. Didn’t help that it started pretty early in the morning.

We had a lovey time. Great weather for December. Close to the beach. Clean. Could use some updates and new frying pans. We saw moose one evening right in the yard of our place. Spectacular. We did have an issue one evening after returning from shopping. We could not get into our place after trying over and over. we called Vacasa and they were able to change the code right away,

So Cute!

It's a studio connected to a house. It was quiet and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows. The ocean is very close. The neighborhood felt very safe. Everyone we met was friendly and approachable. The door lock was confusing and we had to call Vacassa to figure it out. Someone younger and smarter probably could have figured it out. We're old and sort of dumb. I'd stay there again any time!

This is in a great spot! Can't get any closer to the beach. Room was clean. Both beds were comfortable. Super close to town and shops. I wouldn't say it's 'elegant', but it had everything thing we needed and was really cute.

Someone tried to break in and the carpet tack strip was exposed

This place is very close to the beach, and it’s cute. The spa tub was great, the bed was decently comfortable, and it was well stocked. The furniture was worn and mismatched, and the carpet tack strip was exposed at the edge of the tile by the kitchenette. It hurt my foot, but didn’t draw blood. On the second night, a random guy rattled the door handle and we yelled. Then he yelled back, “Do you have any room?” We yelled no, and my partner looked through the blinds to see him get in a car and drive off. It was pretty creepy. Based on that, we wouldn’t stay there again.

2 day getaway

The property was exactly as described. Comfy and cute. Shower and bath were big enough for 2 very large adults to use comfortably. Little kitchen was perfect for us to just enjoy quick and easy meals. The short walk to a gorgeous spot on the coast made everything even better. Will definitely stay again someday!

Overpowering wet dog smell

The property was in a great location and was clean, with the exception of the overpowering smell of wet dog. My wife and I opened all the windows in an attempt to air the place out, but the smell was tenacious. My wife became nauseated because of the smell and we had to leave the property and find other accommodations. Not the best way to experience Cannon Beach on our honeymoon. We were in touch with the property manager within half an hour. She was aware of the smell and said it was from the carpet, which was already scheduled to be removed. It is a shame we did not get to experience this place before the renovation. The property manager was able to find us an alternative accommodation within the hour, but we had already checked into another hotel by that point. The property manager said she will give us a full refund.

Excellent location to the beach & walking distance to downtown. Overall clean but dated decor & mini sofa bed definitely needs to be replaced! Old & gross!! Thankfully king size bed very comfy. Busy season you will hear neighbors & don’t bring a large vehicle. Enjoyed the quick walk to beach!!
