Quaint and spacious cabin in the heart of Bryce Canyon Country

This 600 sq. feet cabin has an open floor plan to the front roo and full kitchen (stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, toaster, kettle etc) area, private bedroom with queen size bed and a full shower/tub combo bathroom. Pull out queen size sleeper/couch in a living area accommodates two people which makes it perfect for a families or just friends traveling together. Large partially fenced private paved back deck with mountain views, outdoor furniture and BBQ propane grill (propane provided) is all you need to cook your sunset (sunrise) meals if you decide to take cooking outdoors! We are located only 20 mins scenic drive to Bryce Canyon NP, 10 min drive to Kodachrome Basin State Park and right at the door step to Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, 2 hrs drive to Capitol Reef NP, 1.5 hrs to Zion NP as well as many other great surrounding places to visit!Enjoy your stay in Cannonville, at the Log Cottages at Bryce Canyon!

Lovely place

We enjoyed our stay, the place is exactly as described. Perfect location to visit Bryce, surrounding state parks and Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument. Relaxing back yard to enjoy life after exploring.

Best rental!

Tad’s cabin was extremely clean and well organized. I was surprised at how well laid out the cabin (and especially the full kitchen) was, and Tad has everything you need and was very friendly and courteous. The cabin itself is midway between Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome, so great location for us. Thanks Tad!

Very peaceful!

Property owner was very amenable and helpful. He built the cabins himself and did an excellent job using the best of materials. Downtown Cannonville was not a hotbed of activity, but it was quiet and friendly. Great place to stay.

Wonderful property, great location!

Tad’s property offers a unique blend of tranquility and convenience for exploring Bryce Canyon and the scenic Highway 12. Located just 15 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park it provided easy access to the park's stunning landscapes while allowing us to enjoy a quieter, less crowded home-base. Additionally, it’s right off Highway 12, one of America's most picturesque drives (seriously – the drive from Panguitch to Highway 24 is stunning, and Joe’s on mainstreet Panguitch is a great spot to re-supply), which makes it an ideal starting point for exploring the area's diverse natural beauty. The property is well appointed and very clean. Everything was very easy to find. We were able to charge our Hybrid rental with easy access to an external 20 amp outlet. This was a great spot, definitely one of our favourites on our 2 week trip through Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Navada...

Great Little Cabin!

Quiet spot with a beautiful view from the back patio. Clean and up-to-date inside with everything that you need in the kitchen. A full supply of coffee and tea was a very nice touch, as were the plush towels and scented soap. A nice place to stay with a very nice on-site host.

Perfect for Travelers

Just needed a place to stay between visits to Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon. This quaint cabin had everything we needed, and it was clean and quiet. Not much else in the immediate area, but just a short drive from Bryce Canyon. Tad was great at communicating.

Incredible stay, cabin, host, location

This has to be one of the best vrbo experiences we’ve had in 10 years. Starting with questions I asked Tad, the host. Every question was answered quickly and throughly, what a difference it makes dealing with the owner directly. Especially since he obviously wants to create such a positive experience for his guests. He knows the area incredibly well and his recommendations were better than any information I researched. The cabin was PERFECT, spotless and so functional. Every detail has been thought of for enjoying a relaxing stay after a day hiking. Kitchen was great and so much storage everywhere. We loved the quiet and sitting on patio. Location is 20 minutes from Bryce, Willis creek canyons were amazing, Escalante 30 minutes. Tad had the best hiking recommendations. So easy to deal with on every single inquiry. The grill was wonderful to have. We brought groceries from Cedar city and it was so nice to have breakfast and get going. Again, one of the best places and experiences you could ever have. So nice also to only have 3 cabins on property, most of the places we passed had so many cabins right on top of each other. Total attention from tad on everything. We hope to return someday!

Lovely place!

My boyfriend and I stayed here after hiking at Bryce Canyon. Close proximity to the trails and restaurants. The cabin was just as pictured and described! We were very impressed with the inside, modern and very clean. Easy check in. Awesome views. Thank you host for a great stay!

Amazing!

This was the coolest little VRBO! Like a mini log cabin that had everything i needed. It was very new and the check-in was super easy (keyless entry code was a plus). So convenient to Bryce and a great place to crash after a long day of hiking. One thing I loved about this stay - you didn’t have to do a checklist when checking out like stripping the beds, doing the dishes, taking out the trash. All VRBOs should follow this considering we pay a cleaning fee, right? Tad was super to work with. I would definitely stay here again!

Great house!

House was spotless! Very cute place-unfortunately we were only there for the night so didn't get to enjoy it for long. Would definitely go back if we were in the area again. Good communication. Appreciated not having to do laundry or take out the trash when we left too!

Glad We Found It

We have stayed in many VRBO’s and this by far was our best experience. First, we loved the location. We were planning on only hiking Bryce, but ended up hiking trails in Kodachrome and had lunch at our favorite pizza place in Escalante. Second, this place goes above to make sure you have a comfortable stay. It is also spotless! The towels and sheets were very soft and smelled fresh. We also loved the addition of the chairs on the front porch and sat out in the sun and rested after our long hike. We usually make visiting national parks a yearly thing and now we have found the perfect place to stay! Thank you for a great weekend!

Wonderful stay

We just returned from visiting Bryce Canyon and stayed at this cabin for 2 nights. It was an easy 20 minute drive to the park. Tad was a great communicator and recommended a nearby restaurant and we ended up there both nights. The cabin was clean and spacious and such a comfortable place to come home to after hiking all day! Thanks Tad…we would definitely recommend staying here!

We love this cabin! There was easy parking, the cabin was spotless, the owner was very accommodating and friendly, and there were a lot of nice little touches in the cabin, such as games to play and K- cups for the Keurig.

Fantastic !! 5 stars is not enough !!!

There are not enough stars for Tad, and his property. The cabin itself is spotless and immaculate. Everything you can imagine is there for you, the cabinets are stocked with all kinds of cooking utensils, and grill utensils are available if you choose to barbecue. Patio has BREATHTAKING views, grill, chairs, etc. Tad is *very* personable and gave great advice for surrounding points of interest. One of the highlights of our trip was the Willis Creek Canyon that he recommended, but he was very careful to caution us about the condition of the road and the weather. He really cares about his guests and is full of knowledge and kindness. He was available before the check-in, (this was our first VRBO rental) and at any time during the stay. I called him one time with a question and he immediately answered. He cares about all your needs. If we had had more than three days there, I could have chatted with him forever. When we come back to Utah, we will give Tad our business, because we were so happy with this stay. There are countless places to explore within driving distance of the property. And honestly, we could have spent 2 weeks there instead of 3 days. Beautiful area and a beautiful property. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
