Enjoy this private and cozy hillside cottage tucked away in the trees near Canyon Lake. With a private deck, outdoor seating near the BBQ and a relaxing hammock this two bedroom, one bath home plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room will accommodate 6 people.

Just one block from the boat ramp, with space to park a boat or trailer, enjoy a refreshing dip or bring some water toys to play in Canyon Lake on a beautiful summer day! The newly updated two bed one bath has ample deck seating to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Gather with friends or family around the firepit, play a fun game of cornhole or stretch out on the hammock in the backyard area. This home is great for both a couples getaway or small families or groups.
Conveniently located two miles from Whitewater Amphitheater and the Horseshoe on The Guadalupe River. Grab a bite to eat at restaurants in Sattler and Startzville.

Perfect accommodation for a quick stay
My family stayed here for 1 night while traveling, and it was the perfect place for a quick drop in-drop out. Instructions were simple and clear, everything was clean and comfortable. And we enjoyed the games below the deck!

Canyon Lake Cottage
Overall, good. Two outdoor gathering areas were nice in the evening and early morning, feeding and seeing deer was fun especially for our grandkids who visited. The power went out 1x while the oven and stovetop were both on. My main issue was the AC in the living room was not really blowing much cool air. It was not adequate for such a large room. The bedroom AC units were fine. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Great get away location for fun with family
Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Perfect location to be centrally located to all the hot spots in New Braunsfels and San Antonio. Roomy and comfy for our family of 6 plus 2 dogs. Very peaceful sitting on the deck in the early mornings and late evenings feeding the deer right off the deck. Great locale for the price!!

Cute Cottage
Very enjoyable stay in private setting. We saw deer almost every day and many birds. Short walk down to the lake. A bit noisy at times from traffic on FM 2673. No laundry detergent so bring your own.

Nice place, but listing implies seclusion that isn't
This is a nice place. It is run well. Hosts do a good job. This would be 5* all the way if not for the listing which through camera angles and careful wording makes you believe your more secluded in nature than you really are. This listing is not alone in doing that. So many listings go a bit too far in suggesting privacy that is actually not there.

As advertised!
My friends and I rented this property for a night after attending a concert at Whitewater. Location was perfect for proximity to the venue, and a short drive to have dinner in Gruene. Cute place, easy check-in and out.
