Aah!!! Poppy's Paradise

Aah!!! Poppy's Paradise is a four bedroom/four bath vacation rental home located in the Village of Captiva on Chapin Lane, just 400 feet to the beach, with private beach access and recently completely updated. You are also within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
Your two-story elevated vacation home offers a screened porch newly upgraded, and dining area which is accessible from the main level. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless appliances, 5 flat screen TVs, 4 DVD players, CD player, fax/copy/printer, beach towels, washer/dryer, garage and free wi-fi.
The home includes two private masters, with one completely private located on the second floor. The ensuite has a separate walk-in shower and jetted tub. The second master is located on the main level, with walk-in shower, separate his and her vanities, and plenty of storage. Third bedroom features two twin beds, with an adjoining full bath with walk-in shower.
Lower level offers, pingpong table, pool table, refrigerator, bar, seating area, flat screen TV, private bedroom with two trundle beds, private bath with walk-in shower. You do have to exit the main home and access the lower level and pool by a back stair way.
The open pool area and patio features plenty of open space and privacy. Lounge chairs and new patio furniture offer plenty of seating area for you and quest and a new patio table and chairs. Relax after a long day at the Beach in the private heated pool or the connected hot tub. There is a stainless steel gas grill located just off the pool, to enjoy cooking your meal if you choose to grill outside during your stay.
The pool can be isolated from the patio by a portable child safety fence located in the outside pool storage area for security for young children.
The great feature of this home is that it is within walking distance of everything you enjoy while you are in Captiva.
The home features new furniture and fixtures. A weekly minimum applies. The home will accommodate 10 guest. The home is only available for Saturday to Saturday Stays.

Great Stay at Poppy’s Place
We had an incredible vacation at this charming Captiva Island beach house! Our two families stayed together, and the house easily accommodated all of us. It truly felt like a home away from home. Comfort and Convenience: The house was not only very nice but also incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, from spacious bedrooms to a well-equipped kitchen. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made our stay enjoyable. Fantastic Pool Area: The pool area was a highlight! We spent lazy afternoons lounging by the pool, sipping cold drinks, and soaking up the Florida sun. It was the perfect spot for relaxation and family fun. Short Walk to the Beach: The location couldn’t be better. Just a short walk away, we discovered an amazing beach with powdery sand and crystal-clear waters. Sunsets were breathtaking, and we even spotted dolphins playing offshore.

Aah!!! Poppy's Paradise was a wonderful house for our family! The location was outstanding, it was spotless, and communication with owner was so easy and prompt. We all loved the pool area. The house also had many great amenities that were so appreciated. The roomy space worked so well with our family of adults, teenagers and babies. We all loved our stay there.

Even better than the photos!
High end and very well-maintained home. Where to begin with how wonderful this house is?? First, the house is so close to the beach - I’d estimate it at between 100-200 yards away and about a 3 minute walk from the house. Wow! We were also a couple of blocks from several restaurants and some of the most well-known spots on Captiva, like the Bubble Room (try their spot Boops! Delicious!). We liked the pizza place as well. The home is spacious and was very clean. The outside screened-in deck is so nice to have, and the very warm pool and decadent hot tub were very much enjoyed by our crew. The owners are so very lovely and responsive and have thought of everything! The house is well stocked with all you need in the kitchen, including high-end pots and pans, a zillion kitchen implements and tools, and even Tupperware for guests to use. The garage has several bikes and lots of beach gear, including a wagon our little ones got to ride in. I can’t say enough about this home. I tried to immediately book the house for the same week next year and it’s already booked - not surprised! We were a family of adults, teens, kids, and toddlers and this house worked and had enough space for us all. If you are considering booking this home, just go ahead and end your search here. You will love it!

Fabulous beach house for a family gathering
This house was fabulous!!! Exactly as pictured and described. We were an extended family of six adults and three children. We all loved it!!! The pool was so nice as was the patio and cabana room. The screened in porch allowed view of pool and was an excellent early am and evening spot. Easy access to restaurants and stores. Walking distance if fit and like to walk! Beach is truly only a 3 minute walk down a mostly shaded path. The owner provides chairs and umbrellas and a wagon for beach, We had one minor issue with pool and Kevin responded immediately!!! We loved our visit and highly recommend this property.

Quiet and fun
We had a great stay and the host was really good about answering a ton of questions we had prior. The home was in nice shape and had everything we needed for our stay, the pool and the beach. The pool was a nice size and the beach was a quick walk and suitable for young kids. Most shops, restaurants, etc are all in easy walking distance. Such a nice, quiet, hidden gem if you are looking to just relax in this secluded yet efficient area.

Great Beach House
We were very pleased with the house. We loved the open floor plan of the main floor and kitchen for gathering as a family. The proximity to the beach was great with an easy walk to the sand. The house was clean with ample space and some great things that we didn’t expect. The amount of beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys was a nice surprise. Perhaps it was in the listing but it was also awesome to have four cruise bikes in the garage. The pool was excellent and it was phenomenal to have all the floaters available. The only minor gripes were : sand in the pool, a very slow ice maker, and mediocre draining in the kitchen sink. All in all though these are minor in comparison to how nice our stay was here.

Wonderful villa on a beautiful island
We had a fantastic time at Poppy's Paradise. It is a beautiful villa with lovely pool, comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and everything you could need. There are umbrellas and chairs in the garage which was really useful when we went to the beach which is just a 3 minute walk away. The location was fantastic, walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops and the Marina. I would definitely recommend it!

A Week in Paradise!
We had a wonderful experience renting Poppy’s Paradise! The location, the property, the pool and the amenities were perfect for our family. Poppy’s paradise is just that..paradise! This house is perfectly set up with anything and everything you need to have a relaxing time at the beach or just out the door to the pool. Ahh, Poppy’s Paradise was the perfect home for our family’s Captiva Christmas. The bottom floor set up was perfect for the teenagers and the sitting areas gave us ample space for relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked of kitchen items to cook a feast.
