Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
We showed up on the day of check in and waited about an hour till the neighbor came out and informed us that the owner of the hotel has passed away and the wife has moved to Italy. 3 other parties had a arrived that day as well to check in and were h see the impression they were going to have a room for the night. This is beyond unacceptable to continue to have this hotel listed with out a refund. Who knows how much money she has racked up each day with the listing.

We pay reservation advance for 6 rooms 2 night. I arrive and the mananger tell they dont will acept reservation from expedia. And i need cal to my credicard for have money back. Because she will not give back and will not give the rooms. I call expedia and the hostal dont answer. They sell more times same rooms and because the place is crazy with internet use this for make wat they want.

Hostal Rocco was a great place to stay! The owners were so amazing to us and they were such great hosts. When we had arrived, Rocco had even drove us to the beach. They were super helpful anytime we needed a hand or recommendation. The rooms were all very clean. It is not right next to the beach, but it is a close cab ride to get there. If you walk about 5-10 minutes you can get to a nice little area with bars / restaurants. Highly recommend! It was great value for the cost.
