Great place to enjoy your vacation
The food was really good, the staff is friendly I don't have anything bad to say about this place. It is a great hotel to stay at. The only thing is that I spotted two of the hotel staff members who are in charge of entertaining guests having sex in the kids club with a hotel guest from Quebec. This happened right after the most popular girl show ended at night. There is some better suited locations for this type of activities specifically in a hotel.

I had the most terrible service I've had in my life. The woman refused to check us in and then proceeded to try and scam us into giving her 260$ CUC ( same as American) also there was no atm and their credit card machine was apparently not working( we found out later once we refused that it was working and that they would gladly take the payment by credit instead.) After refusing for over an hour they finally sent someone to check our booking to see if we paid (which we had, through Expedia) ... Worst service Ive ever had in my life. Also the staff kept telling everyone to be quiet at the bar and told a few of the guests they would be kicked out if they didn't shut up The food gave me food poisoning as well and I had diorreah on the plane ride home the next day. I have spent 7 days in Havana back packing previously with no such issues and instantly was sick the next day after this resort

I tried to find a great place and ended up loosin.
The hotel in the booking pages is not at all the image you get once you’re on location. A disappointment to put it gently. As a hospitality professional I really felt let down. The customer service and expectation of this operation seems to be at an all low.

Sehr altes Hotel, ziemlich heruntergekommen, Service schlecht, Klimaanlage im Zimmer hat einen See errichtet (stark getropft), neue Handtücher gab es erst abends und erst nach 10 maliger Aufforderung. Wir haben nach einem Taxi gefragt, das Hotel hat uns versichert dass es uns eins bestellt, nachdem wir 1 1/2h gewartet haben wurden wir dann an die Hauptstraße geschickt um uns selbst ein Taxi zu besorgen. NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!
