Easy booking. Easy check in. A bit of confusion over parking. Free for guests but receptionist for some unknown reason mention £8 parking? Got it sorted in the end. Stain on chair in room just avoided it. Had to move tray of tea making to near a plug to use it. Not thought out properly

Reasonably priced and comfortable for a night!
One night stay for a friend’s 40th so I was just after somewhere comfortable & friendly to lay my head for the night that wasn’t going to cost me an arm & a leg. This place ticked the boxes; the staff who greeted me on reception were pleasant enough, the room was spacious, clean & neat. My only minor niggles were that the safe didn’t work, the ventilation by way of air coming in through the windows wasn’t very good (I do understand hotel policies regarding windows etc.) and that I had to pay for parking whereas the people who checked in just before me were told they didn’t need to worry about it… this wasn’t properly explained to me when I asked, but after a 6 hour drive down & just wanting a hot shower I didn’t want to get into anything ec. except my room & just relax before going out again. Overall I’d happily give 4* out of 5*

Good stop for one night, do eat in the restaurant.
Very comfortable stay, cleanliness was very good, food was great, all in all I'd happily rtn. At check in however it wasn't recognised that I'd prepaid for my room and the receptionist tried to charge me, it was quickly rectified but it was an inconvenience. Parking is £8 which isn't advertised on here. Not too sure about reception being just a desk though! Felt slightly cheap with no customer privacy.

Caution... Hotel makes repeat charges for parking.
Very average hotel, awful service. Wrong room type, not particularly clean and badly fitted out room. Most annoyingly though I have been overcharged for the car park, they put TWO additional charges through and i can't get through to the hotel by phone to get them to do a refund of these. Will probably end up raising a card payment dispute.

Reasonably priced hotel slightly outside of the city centre. Close enough to Uber to restaurants and bars in Roath - not walkable to anything (useful) but good if you are driving as close to the Eastern Ave (A48) for getting into and out of the city.. Very clean, friendly staff, easy parking right outside, good breakfast.
