Cottage style property quite dated but clean. We were put in a second floor room up a steep staircase. Staff showed up late to serve the breakfast causing some guests to leave prematurely.

The property is in need of some TLC. It is a great location so it seems a shame to not keep it up. As far as the breakfast goes, the quality was adequate but the staff did not replenish items as they we were used so it was very hit and miss…for example no bread items to go with the eggs and ham.

There's a path to Prince Edward Island National Park and the ocean right from the hotel. It's a short walk to get there.

We enjoyed our stay at Shining Waters Country Inn. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable, however the room had a strange smell. I know it's an old inn...it smelled like stale cigarette smoke, I am guessing from when people were allowed to smoke anywhere. Other than that it was great :)

Staff were excellent and extremely helpful and friendly. The room and hotel are very old and a lot of work needs to be done where we were staying and in the main area. The free breakfast was great and a pleasant surprise! If I were to stay again I would try to rent one of the numerous cottages that were there.

Very nice stay, room is basic. No fridge, TV satellite service not the best. Very comfortable beds, and air conditioning! Beautiful pools and table amd chairs on deck to relax! Breakfast is very good also! Would recommend.
