The Space:
This home was built with private porches on each floor of the house and an amazing third-floor deck with great views of the city. Just two blocks from King Street and in the heart of downtown Charleston!

The home contains 3 bedrooms. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, which both have queen-size beds and share a bathroom. The primary bedroom on the third floor contains a queen-sized bed and the private spacious bathroom has a sink with a double vanity and standup shower.

The home has a private driveway with space for 2 cars.

We provide starter supplies for your stay to include a small shampoo, conditioner and body wash per person, 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 dishwasher tabs, small bottle of dish soap, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 spare trash bag, 2 packs of coffee and a handful of small creamers. After these initial supplies run out, we do not offer additional supplies. There are several convenience stores and grocery stores in the area for your convenience.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the Charleston peninsula.

The Wonderer includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch, dinner, trendy cocktails, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

This unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2023-04633.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the front door through the keypad. The door code is given prior to the day of arrival.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, that all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

Getting Around:
The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just 3 blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: We do NOT allow pets at this property. Please note that we have a $500 fee for any time it is found that a pet has been brought to the property during your stay.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 11pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please take the party inside and be considerate of the neighbors.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

Beautiful, and clean!
We stayed with my best friend, and her husband for 3 nights. We really enjoyed the space, and cleanliness of this rental. It had everything we needed, plus extra things like paper towels and Kleenex. We all felt very comfortable staying there. The location to town was also a huge plus. The only slight issue we had, was the parking is very tight, which made it a little hard to unload our cars. We would definitely recommend this rental.

Great Stay
This property worked well for 7 guys on a weekend of golf and dining. With 2 to a bed (3 beds) and a pull out couch. The air conditioning worked, there were 3 different balconies. The bathrooms were beautiful and the showers worked well - equipped with towels, soap, shampoo etc. The location was close to King and either walkable or accessible for a short Uber anywhere we needed to go. We could have used some extra pillows or blanket for the pull out couch but otherwise had what we needed. Thanks for the hospitality.

Home was clean and comfortable. This was a sister trip and we were able to each have our own space to relax and then spend time together. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The kitchen was nice (they need a few more ice trays). Our beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were roomy. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home.

The home was nice and clean and the perfect size for a quick getaway with friends. The location was great too, just a few blocks off from King Street, with a few breakfast places nearby. There is a lot of traffic noise, but didn’t bother us too much being in a city we know it is expected. We enjoyed our stay.

The three floor home allowed for good shared and private space, as we were traveling with our two college aged sons. Very nice marble bathrooms, extremely comfortable beds and we loved the three balconies. The location was very close to excellent restaurants and King Street. We'll be back!

Me and 6 of my best friends rented this property for my bachelorette weekend and it was perfect for what we needed it for. It was in the best location, everything we did (except for a boat tour) was within walking distance. It accommodated all 7 of us comfortably, the place was very clean and spacious. The bathrooms were very nice and clean and the bed in the master bedroom was probably the most comfortable one I have ever slept in. The only thing I would say is parking is a little tight so bring smaller vehicles if you can. We had the best time and said we would love to come back and stay for a longer, more relaxing trip in the future! 10/10 recommend, thank you CVP properties!

We came to town for a concert and shopping and the property was perfect for our needs. It was great to have parking on site and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The house was clean and well appointed. Highly recommend and would return.

The place was nice in the pictures but in person whole other story. There were dust balls everywhere on the first floor, if you have allergies be warned. We all left sick from the allergies.. The sofa bed was horrible so two of us slept bad, they didn’t have blankets for it. Kids slept cold Not enough water for us, got cold water after the fourth shower we where 8. The dining room table was for four, it should be for 8! Wrote to the owners, did nothing about it. I do not recommend this is you are 8 people.

Great location a bit off the main drag - but that was the draw. Better in person than the pictures. Fully renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. 3 great porches. Easy to walk or Uber anywhere.

This was a nice house. However we had issues with housekeeping and supplies. Floors were not clean. Trash in the kitchen trash can when we arrived. No trash bag in can. Trash can smelled awful. We had to provide our own towels as there were only a few, including only one dish towel. The day before we left we found a load of towels in dyer. Not enough silverware. Definitely think you need a new cleaner. I believe our cleaniing fee should be refunded,
