We only stayed one night so we really did not have much time to explore the area.

Cute cottage
Be careful of the kitchen door it opens by itself. Needs a deadbolt. Also there is no bathroom upstairs and no way to turn the stairway light off or on from upstairs. Otherwise very clean.

Comftorble
The place was clean and comfortable. However, the price I paid was the same as a 2 bedroom, ocean front condo on Isle of Palms the last time we were here. I will stay there if and when I come back. Love Charleston!!!

Very Great Time
Had a blast staying over the 4th of July at this place. It was hot which was to be expected, but the lower floors were very cool during the day and at night. Thank you!

Cute, cozy cottage
This property is a cute, cozy cottage in a walkable neighborhood with a few breakfast options, restaurants/bars, and shops on King Street. Off-street parking was a great bonus! For a shorter stay, the cottage was just what we needed and had lots of charm. The bed was so comfortable! The layout was fine for us; however, some may not like that the bathroom is so separate from the bedroom (downstairs then up two steps and through the kitchen) for bathroom trips in the middle of the night. Check-in and check-out were easy with great communication from owners.

Comfortable bed!
Stayed here for two nights for a quick birthday trip. Just as advertised. We used the place basically to shower and sleep. But was very clean. Bed was very comfortable upstairs. Less than 10 minutes to King, East Bay. Would recommend.

Short of expectations
I want to begin by saying the property manager for this unit is fantastic. He gets 5 stars for communication and addressing our issues. When the toilet wouldn’t flush he had someone there to fix it in a timely manner. The property, on the other hand, was disappointing. The smell of disinfectant upon entry was overwhelming and never went away. The building is very old and sits on a busy road which makes it difficult to enter and leave the property. It also is not walking distance to Kings Street as suggested.

Disappointed
No dish towels, no dish soap, lighting is awful, empty beer bottles in the parking area, located in a college student neighborhood … see other reviews for additional information. Somewhat of a dump.

Great Location
A cute little place, big enough for 2, close enough to walk or ride a bicycle to see the sights but far enough away to avoid the noise and traffic. Would definitely stay here again.

Not quite what I expected
It's a vintage building with lots of character in a somewhat mixed neighborhood. Clean and well equipped but a bit "tired". Living room and kitchen were dimly lit, Formica countertop in the kitchen had some damage, fridge was old with rust spots and you had to hold the handle down to completely flush toilet. Second floor bedroom and bed were fine, but it was awkward having the bathroom on the first level behind the kitchen.

Great location for a couple
Location is great, as is off street parking. Unit was very clean. More lighting would be nice. Suggestions: provide at least 3 bath towels (we had only two) and put them in the bathroom, not upstairs in the bedroom; a bath mat; and soap at the kitchen sink. We enjoyed our experience and would stay there again.

Lovely cottage and city
My friend and I had an absolute blast on this trip, large part to this lovely cottage and its location. The location was prime, a couple blocks down from King Street and downtown. The hosts were great at sending updates and helping us make the most of our stay with the recommendations. I have only one suggestion: better privacy blinds would be nice. Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you for the hospitality! 10/10
