My son and I were in town for the Panthers game and decided we would prefer having the space of an apartment vs a hotel so we landed on this condo. There were a few opportunities…Pros - host was super responsive and quickly addressed all of my questions. The location worked great but as others said it is located on a main thoroughfare so there is quite a bit of traffic. I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me, but it did wake my son up throughout the night and morning. I thought the beds were really comfortable with great sheets and blankets.Cons - there were some issues with the HVAC unit. It was a programmable thermostat which had been programmed to turn the heat way down in the middle of the night so we woke up with it being 60 inside. In addition, when my son woke up with a sore throat, I decided to take a look at the filter and it was evident that it hadn’t been changed in almost a year.. I asked about getting a replacement and was told that maintenance was off but I could pick up one myself. Unfortunately, there is not a Home Depot located anywhere near the apartment so we were stuck. Also, if you plan on eating at this apartment, make sure you bring your own dishes as there were only two small plates. The apartment does have a small front patio, but be prepared to struggle opening the sliding glass door. It really needs to be replaced and I’m not sure why the owners don’t spend the 1,000 to get it done? It worked but I would not stay there again.
