I was pretty disappointed when I arrived at the hotel. It's like 3 hotels in one. The lobby furniture was an immediate red flag. The chairs were visibly dirty and worn out. The tables had scratches and chips.
The lady at the front desk was extremely sweet. Our room was clean when we walked in, but the bathroom was old with random holes in the wall. The floor looked dirty, and the sink had no stopper in the drain. We were late for our event, so we just tried to ignore it.
However, when I got in the shower, there was no hot water. I ran over to the phone, which was sticky and disgusting and, to no surprise, the phone did not work. Because we were already late and so far from the front desk, we took cold showers and rushed to our event.
When we came back to our room, some of my friend's things were missing. We couldn't prove someone had been in our room, but we have a very good idea who it could've been, because we spotted him earlier during check-in.
Also that night, the AC was making knocking noises, so we couldn't sleep, but we were too exhausted to walk all the way to the other side of the hotel to get to the front desk.
The next morning, I reported all of our issues to the girl at the front counter. She said she'd have a manager call me, but she gave me the look like she knew they weren't going to call me. And guess what... no one ever called. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
