Needed a break, so I booked a 4 star hotel on Expedia- paid $200 for a night in a room with no hot water in the bathroom sink( it’s great washing your hands in freezing cold water). The shower floor is “crooked” - the water doesn’t run to the drain, it runs to the side of the shower and there must be a crack or something in the tile because after I got out of the shower, there was A LOT of water on the bathroom floor. The room was nice enough, the bed was comfortable. I spent a total of 10 hours in the room-nothing great, but other than the bathroom problems, it was fine. 2 1/2 stars

Overall it was a nice stay. A couple of attendants at the front need to work on their “warmth” and explanation of charges etc. rather than assuming all guests are all-knowing. The room we were in was clean but you could clearly see they put “bandages” over things that needed to be fully redone. The showers were kind of a mess, and really the bathroom overall. Floors looked as if they needed a deeper clean. However we slept well and enjoyed the amenities and enjoyed our stay overall.
