We really enjoyed our stay in Round Hill Inn. The room was comfortable, the breakfast had hot items that were pretty good. The staff were very attentive in the breakfast area, and the person who checked us in was also also friendly. The property sits on a very nice location and the views around are wonderful. There is a lovely patio outside the building to sit and enjoy lovely views of the sunset. There is a nice library of books on history, and since this property is so close to James Madison's Montpelier, those books put you in the mood. Highly recommend, and will stay here again.

I have stayed here a couple times when fishing Lake Anna and surrounding public lakes, with my brother in law and nephew. The rooms are always in great shape. The staff is top notch. The breakfast they have is one of the best continental breakfast I’ve had anywhere in my stays. AAA for a small town hotel. You can’t beat it. Won’t be my last stay here

We actually didn't stay the night as my husband started to have a mold reaction upon entering the building. It became worse when we went into the room, everything felt damp. The bed also seemed very unsupportive. We opted to drive the 2 hours home in order to avoid severe allergy issues. We were offered a different room but frankly, the whole building seemed to have the same damp issue. We were not offered a refund. I don't usually review hotels and let most things slide but this was not up to standards.

We love Orange, Va for it's shops and great dining but we have never stayed overnight. We chose Round Hill Inn because of the reasonable rate but, when we got there, it exceeded our expectations. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the view was amazing. I requested a room with the view because only one side has mountain views. The front of the hotel looks over the parking lot but the rolling lawn is pristine and peaceful so wouldn't be bad either. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage and potatoes. A real breakfast. I would highly recommend this Inn.
