This motel could do with a massive makeover. It’s tired and very outdated. On a positive note, the bed wasn’t uncomfortable, the room was spacious and the shower stream was good. Unfortunately there were broken tiles in the shower right underneath where you stand and the vanity was in disrepair. Lovely staff and check in & out was seamless.

We had a lovely time from the moment we checked in. Staff who greeted us were warm and friendly. The room nicely renovated and felt much fresher than when we last came through Charlton. Parking is easy, fuel, banks and food places are easily accessed from the hotel. Will definitely return.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT come into the room at night and turn the light on without closing the door immediately. Ideally, when dark, enter the room, shut the door then turn on the lights. When you know, you’ll know.
