Look elsewhere in Lookout Mountain
The woman at check in was friendly and professional. Everything else was bad. The hallway carpet leading to the room was stained. The room number plaque to the room was taped to the wall. Opening the door caused it to scrape across the flooring leaving a gouge in the flooring. Some of the vinyl flooring was peeling. The carpet had a sticky stain. While generally clean, the room was obviously old and deteriorating. There was no closet or wardrobe to hang clothes, only a hook on the wall. The walls were thin and transmitted noises. Not only could you hear walking on the floor above but the ceiling creaked with each step. Not worth $180 plus taxes.

The hotel is a bit run down, but it is clean and the price is right. The staff is courteous. The room was comfortable. It wasn’t something to write home about (lol)but we were quite satisfied and would stay there again.

For the price it was ok, but very dated. Needs upgraded. Nobody at front desk for 15 minutes and then had trouble checking us in when he came back.

Most things were fine. The issue was cleanliness. There was hair in the shower and the shower head was absolutely horrible. Zero water pressure and the head was spraying sideways. The headboards front and top were covered with dust.

Just don’t!
I usually do not leave reviews for hotels. But this hotel was exceptionally horrible. There was mold in the basin of the shower, there was dirt in every corner that had buildup of God knows what, it smelled musty and dank. We wore socks and clothes that covered us fully to bed because we didn’t know if anything else was clean.

First room so stinky I had to move. Second room door would not lock. Third room still smelled bad but could live with it. No housekeeping to room if you stay more than one night. No new towels, trash emptied etc for three days. Breakfast is absolutely the exact same every morning so don’t stay more than one night!! It was near Lookout Mtn. so drove there every day and walked It was cheaper and as is always the case “you get what you pay for!”

An older hotel but not a horrible stay. Carpets in halls were gross but room was clean. Night one was good, our second night our hall reaked of weed and the room next to us was definitely the source. Lady at front desk was super nice.

Main thing I look for is clean. It was. However beds need to be replaced and our toilet was a little unsturdy. Location is good. I felt safe but it needs some updates.
