Great for overnight stop over.
Great for an overnight stop over. Lots of places to eat within a walk / short drive of the hotel.
Fairly basic but perfectly adequate for my needs since I was out during the daytime. Staff extremely helpful & friendly. Small-ish room with no air-conditioning but comfortable & quiet. Breakfast is available if required but no evening meal facilities though there are plenty of places to eat in the general area. Overall I have no complaints
Not the best, beds very uncomfortable.
Rooms tiny, have to leave window open as no air con but busy road outside. Bathroom can barely move in and shower was broken so head goes everywhere and the tray fills up so have keep turning shower off to let it drain.
Plus side is cheap and lots of eating place very close by. Don't forget euros for your local tax as not taken as the pre payment.
We travel extensively throughout Europe and are always looking for a good priced hotel. This hotel is cheap, yes, but the quality of the room was dire. There was a lingering smell of mould and when we mentioned it to reception she agreed that they did have a problem with the sewers.
The staff were really pleasant and knowledgeable and helped us with bus timetables etc, but we would not use the hotel again.

We found this hotel clean and good for the price. It was quite far from the downtown and there were no restaurants open and within walking distance.

great for a stop over
We have stayed in numerous hotels in and around the dijon area and this hotel suits our purpose to a tee. Our needs are for a clean and comfy place to act as a stop over hotel and this place meets the bill. I have read other reports which denounce the place but I really can not understand these people. If they want a 5 or 6 star place to stop then go and pay for the 5 or 6 star prices. We like the clean rooms and the beds are comfy albeit a little small. but generally it suits us.

Good for one night stop over
Clean room, staff friendly ok for a night stop over.
A dirty hotel in the middle of nowhere.. Funky smelling room (smelled of urin) Sticky carpet floors... Really moldy bathroom... A toilet that almost didnt flush... with a door that did not open or close very easily!
Breakfast was bad... oh... badbadbad... It sounded even worse during the night... you can hear everything that happens in all the rooms during the night.... And boy was something happening in the other rooms... was glad to leave the next morning!

Overnight stop on the way to the French Alpes
It was fine for an overnight stop. Hotel looking a little tired.
The Stars Hotel is 2 star and very basic.Rooms are small and beds are very old and full of lumps and bumps. On the ground floor the opening windows have
no security and very easy to climb into from the garden.
Breakfast was great value.Overall impression was
not great but OK for 1 night .

location
The location is not good.
You have to use taxi from the Dijon station.
This was a last minute booking as a rest stop on the way back to Calais. The price says it all really. We arrived at 10.30 pm and it was closed with a message on the door asking us to call a number. The lady on the other end gave us the door code and the rooms where ready for us. We found the only restaurant open in the vicinity - a 'Quick' burger bar! A very 'tired' hotel but it was a bed and we left (without trying the breakfast) very early. Nothing to write home about but it served its purpose.

Avoid
An example of you get what you pay for. The staff are lovely but the Hotel has seen better days. It is a good distance to the south of Dijon centre. It would suit those on a budget, but is in the middle of a commercial centre.

expensive for what it was
We were there only for one night on our way to the South of France.
The room was not very clean and very smelly. The bathroom was small and after one shower, the bathroom was filled with water (no protection of the shower). Other than that, it is ok for just one quick night.

Low cost but dirty floor, whole hotel stank of cigarette smoke, broken bed, only one towel in the room, broken shower head - unusable shower. Would not stay there again and would not recommend.

Beware of location and room temperature
There are 2 Rue Jean Moulin - one in Dijon and one in Chenove, make sure you go to the Chenove one as there isn't an 18 in the Dijon one - my sat-nav got very confused. The room is small and there is no air-con in the rooms and, if on the ground floor, you cannot leave the window open to get air as on retail park, so it becomes unbearably hot and sweaty. No doors on shower made a very wet floor. All else passable for an overnight stay. Staff OK. Breakfast OK. All speak English.

if you just stop for a night.
if you just stop for a night. it is idea. but you must not have expectation with this price you pay. at least it is just a room and a hot shower you get for the price you pay.. i think it is what you pay for and it is what you get.. i liked it.. reception speak little english which is very helpful.. good...
