Mountain Mama cabin lies in the Chattahochee-Oconee National Forest. The cabin is in THE BEST location possible, just 15-minutes from Blue Ridge and Ellijay! This allows for you to easily visit both the awesome mountain towns during your stay. Mama is a secluded and private sanctuary, w/ 3 bedrooms + a bunk room (equipped with a sweet arcade game😎), 3 modern spa-like bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, an awesome hot tub, and a movie room! She also has a full house generator if the power goes out (very important... make sure you book a cabin with one!)

🍳 KITCHEN:
Newly renovated in 2022, your kitchen is fully-equipped with gorgeous white quartz countertops, brand new stainless steel appliances and all of the kitchen essentials: Pots/Pans/Bakeware/Airfryer/Toaster Oven/Plates/Cups/Wine Glasses/Utensils/
NEW as of June 2024: a full barista worthy coffee bar with Brooklyn coffee beans, grinder, milk frother, Keurig machine, regular coffee pot machine, fresh press, flavored syrups, and an assortment of teas.

🛏 BEDS:
We provide 5-star hotel quality sleeping accommodations all of our guests. Each bed has a brand-new NECTAR mattress, 400TC lux sateen weave linens, and Buffy Cloud comforters. You will truly feel like you are sleeping in the clouds.

🧻 AMENITIES:
We provide Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap, as well as towels, toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. We also provide basic cleaning supplies.

🚪 ENTRY:
There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. Entry code will be provided to you 48 hours before arrival. The code is changed after every guest.

🅿️ PARKING:
There is enough room for 2 vehicles at the main base of the drive way, as well as a 3rd spot about halfway down the driveway (you will have to walk about 200 feet down to the cabin from this spot).

🚘 THE DRIVE TO THE TOP:
The cabin in located at the top of Rich Mountain, so the road can be a bit windy and steep at times. Take your time and enjoy the adventure! We recommend 4WD or AWD, if that's an option, if not though -- we have cars with FWD make it up but will take a bit more skill.

Pro tip: if you turn your radio down and open the windows, you can hear the sounds of the creek as you ascend to the top!

💻 INTERNET:
We have high speed internet! You are able to surf the web, stream videos and work remotely.
You can access your Hulu & Netflix accounts with the Smart TVs

🥾 OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES:
There are tons of things to do around here: hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking, bird watching, SQUATCHIN' (look it up, lol.)--anything you can think of, Appalachia has it.

🔐 SECURITY:
A Ring security camera is located OUTSIDE on the front porch of the house for your security. This outdoor camera does actively record. NO cameras inside the property!

🐾PETS:
We do allow pets, BUT please only bring animals that are completely house trained.
During your stay at this cabin, you're just a quick walk from Chattahoochee National Forest. You'll find features such as 1 hot tub and an arcade/games room. The cabin includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

This was the perfect weekend getaway. The cabin was in a great location with hiking and shopping in close proximity. The property was clean, well-maintained, and absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect quick get away!!
We took a quick trip to Mountain Mama while our daughters were on a school break. It was absolutely perfect! We settled in right away thanks to the coziness of the cabin and everything you need being provided. We felt right at home and enjoyed every second of our stay. We absolutely loved our stay! Very nicely appointed cabin that had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were so nice. Easy drive to Blue Ridge and Ellijay! Host was incredibly kind and responsive!

The property was as described. It was very secluded and very private. A great place to kick back and relax. We elected to stay at the property, the entire duration of our stay. As previously noted, the driveway was a little tricky, but very manageable. The communications with the host was the best we’ve ever experienced. Definitely will put this on our list to visit again.

Amazing Property!
We had the best time staying here! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed playing games (many provided by host) and listening to the vinyls! The cabin is in the mountains with no close neighbors but conveniently located to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. A storm came through while we were here and we lost power for a few hours - very thankful for the whole house generator! Highly recommend!!

Mountain Mama Mania!
This property is just as beautiful as you hope it is from the photos. The host Brianna was super responsive, easy to communicate with, and just a pleasant person! The space is well maintained, and made for a great and relaxing week overall. We loved that it was dog-friendly so we were able to bring our two pugs along for a true family vacation. We will absolutely stay here again without hesitation! The views are truly just incredible, and the way the sunlight hits the mountains is perfection. Their great windows make it such a VIEW! But that view does come with a trek! The only thing I would say is that the driveway was a little rutted in one area, and that driveway is breathtaking… in that it may take your breath away LOL. Perhaps we found the driveway a little daunting because we’re from Florida, but a 4WD is highly encouraged! (Please don’t get me wrong, this place is a 10/10!) We’ll miss Mountain Mama until we meet again!

We had a very nice time at this cabin. The views were indeed *big*, and the mountain sides were colorful during the late October time we stayed. The kitchen was well stocked, the projector was a great addition, and the hot tub was great in its enclosed porch. It was good to be in-between Ellijay and Blue Ridge and close to many great things to go out and do. We recommend an AWD vehicle and knowing how to properly use it for the drive up and down (stay in first gear; use DAC if available; drive slowly; and have a helper if you haven't driven on mountain roads before).

Cozy Retreat
We had a wonderful & relaxing stay at Mountain Mama. We had no issues whatsoever our entire stay. It was very well stocked with everything we needed and included a lot of additional touches that you don't usually find. Our teenagers enjoyed the basement and having their own space while we enjoyed the sun porch and our Goldendoodle appreciated the dog beds. Brianna was very responsive & helpful. It is close to town if you want to get out and about. It was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. We would definitely book a stay here again.

Great Stay!
We had a great Fall break trip at Mountain Mama cabin! The cabin is exactly as described. Such a cute vintage vibe with lots of extra touches to make it feel extra cozy. We enjoyed the vinyl records, morning coffee and breakfast on the sun porch, evenings by the fire pit, and movies in the downstairs movie area. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were great. The location is perfect! About 15 minutes from Blue Ridge and Ellijay. The communication was also top notch!! And did I mention that the views are AMAZING! The road to the cabin was a bit tricky for our Suburban. After a few times my husband got the hang of it and it was fine. Don’t let the driveway scare you. It’s worth it! Highly recommend.

This cabin is so charming. The views are amazing and we rode out hurricane Helene and never lost power. Our teens loved the games and the hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked which is so appreciated. Book it! You won’t be disappointed!

We booked this rental for our anniversary trip and we brought our frenchie with us as this place is pet friendly! The place is cozy and super clean. If you like seclusion then this is the perfect place for you! The owner was super nice and could get in contact with her immediately. We will definitely be coming back.

Sweet Serenity
The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful and felt so so homey!! They have everything you could imagine for your stay and the hot tub is so nice. The mountain does have a decent incline on the way up so just make sure to follow the directions given and to have a car that supports that type of nature and you’re all set! My friends and I felt safe and like we were at a home away from home. Not one bad thing to say! We will definitely be staying here again.

Mountain Mama was the perfect escape for our family! Nestled between Blue Ridge and Ellijay, the cabin’s location made it easy to enjoy both towns. The mountain views were breathtaking,the kids couldn’t get enough of the arcade game and movie room. The reading room and cozy sunroom were ideal for relaxing. Brianna, our host, was fantastic—super responsive and cooperative, ensuring we had everything we needed. The road up is a bit tricky, but the destination is worth it.

Brianna was a very sweet host and Mountain Mama is very cozy and welcoming. The coffee/tea bar is so perfect and even comes with Raw Honey (iykyk). The property was described just as listed. The fire pit was a great touch to our weekend escape from the city life. We were sad when we ran out of firewood which was also provided by the host. The cabin is dog friendly, so be prepared for a slight dog odor (not a stinky smell). Also, my husband is 6’4 and we took the room upstairs which is a tight space and he had to slightly bend to walk to the bed. But the bed was very comfortable and the rainfall sounds from that room are only ones you can get from Mountain Mama as they were so serene to my ears. I came in a 4door Toyota and we did make it up and down the mountain even while wet. If you are in a lower ground car like mines, pack as light as you can. Overall, we loved our stay and definitely want to return!!!

Our stay in the cabin was great! The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of pots/pans, plates, silverware, extra cooking appliances, pretty much everything you could possibly need. It's in a secluded and quiet area but then the road is pretty crazy. We contacted the host about the door code not working when we got there but they were very responsive and got us in quickly. Great place to stay. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the area!
