Bugs in room. No visit to room after first night of two nights stay. Ran out of Kleenex. No coffee in room 2nd morning. Noisy in hallway early morning. 1st room smelled like way too much room deadorizer. Had to move to different room. Stale bagels served for breakfast buffet. Terrible paint job in room. Paint spatter all over everything including the furniture. Very old shower fixtures.

Great place and location. Clean neighborhood. Clean room. Good breakfast. Would stay here again Monday night, but you have to book 2 nights. Oh well. Guess I’ll go somewhere else Monday.

Excellent stay
This was the best hotel stay my partner and I have had in years. Affordable for the expensive Chicago metro area without having to sacrifice quality of the rooms/service. The front desk staff were friendly, inviting, and helpful. If you wanted to get knew towels/toiletries, you just asked the front desk for service. None of the wasteful and loud cleaning that happens every day for sometimes unnecessary reasons in many hotels. The free breakfast was excellent, including a build your own omelet option. The kitchen staff were very friendly and patient.

Recently remodeled. Amazing value for the price. Absolutely no complaints. Wide variety for breakfast including made to order omelets with fresh eggs. That’s hard to find. After this place may try Best Westerns again

We paid a lot of money for a smoke free room, the cigarrette smell in the room was strong. We put a complaint with the reception desk, this person said that there was nothing they can do and all other rooms were "booked" so they could not transfer us. It was too late for us to find another hotel, we had to stay. I would advice people to stay away from this place. NOT recommended. First time a put a complaint in more then 20 years traveling.
