Messy check in and noisy
Check-in was messy, could not find my reservation, for some random reason was given a room which was for someone else and was booked for a longer stay. Incidentals “initial charge” was for the longer stay (which was then corrected and dropped). When we got to the room we saw it was an accessible room and not the city view we booked and paid for so went downstairs to tell them about mistake and that we were ok moving if the room was booked by someone who actually needed it. They only corrected the stay of my reservation and said it was ok to stay in the room. Result was that after 11pm someone tried to enter our room and at 11:40pm we had the receptionist knock on door to check who was in the room bec it was double booked!!! He said ok and nothing else happened but the whole experience felt very messy compared to other times we had visited. Also, extremely noisy. Guests have no respect if others are sleeping and there was a lot yelling in the hallways very late hours (3-4:00am) Looking for another hotel next time.

Homeless haven
Homeless people allowed to roam freely around the lobby. Begging people for money. I caught a man going through a guests luggage. Later that evening the same man was sleeping on a couch in the lobby. Very few outlets worked in our room.

Great location - easy on L train to & from airport. Alll the main attractions are walkable & felt reasonably safe. Quite noisy with sirens all night but get used to it.

The property is conveniently located in downtown Chicago, within walking distance of many dining and shopping options. Parking is a bit pricey, at $69 a day, unlimited entrances and exits, but that's standard for downtown Chicago. The staff was helpful and friendly. They also have a restaurant on site - Weber grill.

Although the hotel was nice in itself there is no warning about how thin the walls are and sense of security for the rooms. Multiple times I called the front desk for them to ask our neighbors to keep it down with a promised call back and they never did. I was awoken at 1am by multiple neighbors screaming and partying in their rooms and never got to go back to sleep, this resulted in us checking out at 7am because we couldn't take it anymore. We paid a lot of money for this room on top of the $61 parking and we left extremely unhappy.
