My experience soured upon checkin and as they say first impressions are everything. I was there for one night for a business event and I chose a VIP property knowing that I could hopefully get an early check in. Upon arriving the fro t desk said they had no rooms available however for another $60 they could get me a room before 1pm but still no guarantees. So why would I pay this ? I think normal check in was 3pm. They didn’t care if I was an Expedia VIP member. Also others were able to check in. It’s too bad since the room was nice. I booked a junior suite. I would not stay here again. I’m always in chicago on business and there are too many other fabulous hotels

CHICAGO’S GEM HOTEL EXCEPTIONAL
This entire stay was excellent. Carlos at the front desk was a model of what every guest should encounter upon checkin. Perfection. We were stunned at this room which included a private living room with a view, a kitchen with sink, a bathroom with a dream bathtub very deep! Shower separate! We were in heaven. They have a rooftop bar thats incredible on the 16th floor with food and cocktails and more great service. Breakfast is so good. I can’t say enough great things and we are so picky about where we stay. This hotel is a true gem! Carlos we noticed also treated everyone the same way not just us. Rooms have door bell or light for housekeeping or do not disturb. We found our new place!
