Solidly okay, but clearly dated. A lot of the furniture was older and showing lots of signs of wear (scratches on wood and leather on the desk chair was almost completely stripped away). The bathroom facilities were also shockingly old (the sink wasn’t aerated and the toilet looked like a school or public toilet), but they worked fine and were mostly clean. It wasn’t quite as nice as the cost would imply, but nothing was necessarily wrong with it either.

Nice hotel, but room needs work. Nice older hotel, but the bathroom was in terrible condition. Toilet rocks when sitting on it, tub faucet does not work properly- had th turn 4 revolutions to get water- could not control temp. Sink drained very slowly, ceiling over tub crumbling.

front office supervisor is excellent hotel needs renovation definitely needs repairs not a 4 star , it's a heritage property but they could have change curtains they are having holes in it .. positive thing is the hotel staff

This is a lovely small boutique hotel - an absolutely beautiful, classic hotel that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Elegant rooms with classic furniture and marble bathrooms. Can walk to everything from this hotel - cabs are easy to find on this street. Late night dining is limited but The Four Seasons is across the street and their bar dining room is open till late.

Hotel is in need of major repairs and renovation. Staff was terribly rude when I called from the room with a simple question. Great location, terrible hotel.

Keeping in mind that this is a budget friendly hotel, the staff are wonderful and the rooms are clean, albeit a bit old. There is a slight odor in the elevator and hallways but the room was odorless. The AC is powerful and can be easily turned off. My family and I were traveling with a baby and arrived to the city early. We made a note of this week's before check-in and were hoping for the best. The staff was able to assist and also brought in the crib/fridge that was requested. We also didn't realize the rooms are cleaned upon request 24 hrs beforehand but the staff were super accommodating and made it happened that day! Thank you Cheryl, Felicia, and Alex.

The hotel was dated but nice. Hotel marketing featured “laundry” which is why we chose it. That was a lie, there is an expensive laundry service available but nowhere to do laundry, no laundromat in the area.
