Huge two unit space linked by front and back staircases that sleeps 18 on a peaceful tree lined street in West Town next to the East Village and Ukrainian Village. Steps away to restaurants, grocery stores, bars and nightlife. Two parking spaces are provided behind the building with free street parking.

West Town, Chicago, has a rich history shaped by European immigrants, including Polish, Ukrainian, and Italian communities in the 19th and 20th centuries. Once an industrial and working-class hub, it experienced economic shifts but has since revitalized with a blend of historic architecture, trendy restaurants, and a thriving arts scene. Today, it’s a diverse, vibrant neighborhood known for its cultural heritage and modern development.
House Rules

Please be advised there are security cameras at every entry point to the property that are monitored 24/7. There are noise alert systems in the property that alert us immediately if noise goes above preset decibel levels. In the event the noise alert is activated and/or if unapproved visitors access the property the authorities will be contacted immediately.

Parties, gatherings and unapproved guests are strictly prohibited.

Smoking and vaping of ANY substance is prohibited.

Do not leave food or debris that can attract pests.

When checking out do not leave windows open and doors unlocked.

Please do not cook anything that leaves a lingering odor.

Please take off shoes after entering the unit.

Do not adhere or tape ANYTHING to walls and surfaces.

Do not use white towels, sheets, washcloths to remove make up ($10 fee per towel will be charged).

Loud music, voices, vibrations or any audible disturbance loud enough to disturb neighbors is prohibited.

Neighbor relations are critical for the health of our listing. We expect neighbors and other guests to be treated with respect and dignity.

Spacious, clean accomodation
Accommodation could use more lighting, kitchen towels, and reading lamps in all rooms. It was not clear that the apartments were two separate units. It was overall a great affordable rental for a large group.

Great place and location!
Loved this place! Was super convenient for our labor day plans, easy to walk to a bunch of places and the property itself was lovely. Something I always struggle with at bnbs is having enough pillows and there was so many! It was wonderful! Definitely would stay here again!

Booking exists off the VRBO platform
This was a good spot of 7 of our employees to stay during a week long work trip with work around the West Loop. The check-in/check-out process was easy and good for a group trip. We were able to give everyone their own bedroom and minimize bathroom sharing. Bedrooms varied in size, but each had a queen sized bed and enough space to get around the bed. A few things we wish we'd known before we booked: - This is two separate (but neighboring) units with 3 bedrooms on the upper unit and 4 in the lower unit (which has two floors). Both are accessed from the rear of the building. - This booking was made through VRBO, but once booked, nothing showed up on the VRBO portal because this is handled by a property management company (per VRBO). While the host was communicative during the process confirming that we were still set - the lack of clarity on the booking platform required us to be in constant contact with the host for questions. We had some issues with bugs and smells on the lower unit. Bugs were what could be expected of a basement unit, but were present - and the smell seemed like the unit may have been pet friendly. The upper unit was still being cleaned when we arrived, and the folks staying in that unit needed to do a little additional cleaning once they arrived. Overall, a fine spot for a group. It's certainly a rental property and has a few imperfections, but definitely hit the mark on value.
