The space
I'm delighted to welcome guests to our cosy cottage in the heart of West Ashling, which is a pretty village at the base of the South Downs National Park. My cottage has original beams and a beautiful inglenook fireplace which is perfect for warming up in front of on winter evenings. I've enjoyed furnishing it with ornamental accents and quirky furniture to create a charming cottage experience.

My Property sleeps 4 guests in 2 double bedrooms.

Ground Floor:

Entrance leads into the kitchen which is bright and airy and overlooks the garden. The kitchen can open on to the garden which is perfect for keeping an eye on the children when cooking and for getting things ready for a barbecue. The kitchen leads on to the sitting room/dining room area which is a lovely space for relaxing in with family and friends.

First Floor:

Upstairs has two double bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a double bed. The family bathroom is located here with a shower over bath. Also upstairs is an office room with a desk and chair.

Outside:

The courtyard garden is south facing and a real sun trap. You will spend many evenings out here enjoying an alfresco drink and making use of the charcoal barbecue. There is allocated parking for one car and plenty of free street parking.

My property is pet friendly. Please read and be sure you can adhere to the Pet section on 'Other things to note' before booking with your pet.

Guest access
You will have access to the whole cottage and garden during your stay. There is parking for one car on the driveway.

Is available for one car in the driveway but there is plenty of free street parking in the village if you need more.

Check in / Check out
Check in time is after 4pm and check out time is before 10am. We may need to levy a charge if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner's schedule.

Pets
One small, well behaved dog is welcome to join you on your holiday in the cottage, for an additional fee of £30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance with the details of your pet (breed/age).
- Dogs must be well behaved and house trained.
- Please do not allow them upstairs or on the furniture.
- Please clear up after them in the garden and around the property.
- Muddy paws should be cleaned before they are allowed in the house.
- Please do not leave them alone in the property.

The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

Lovely house
Very well equipped, parking is one car only and a bit tight, but not an issue for us. Not a lot of footpaths near property of you have dogs, but garden is secure
