Stunning new thatched barn conversion
Set in an idyllic rural location, surrounded by farmland and a short drive to the beach, Poplars Farm Barns provides the perfect place to take a break. This beautiful Grade II listed cart house and thatched dairy barn have been extensively renovated to provide stunning brand new accommodation sleeping six adults and two children. The two buildings are seamlessly linked together by a stunning glass walkway that provides a real 'wow' factor as you move between the living spaces and bedrooms.
The barns sleep six adults and two children across three ensuite bedrooms and a fun mezzanine sleeping loft. Each bedroom contains a king sized bed and two have free standing bath tubs for the ultimate luxurious escape.
The barns have been renovated to the highest standard ensuring every room maintains its original features and charm. Expect exposed brick and flint walls, original beams, reclaimed furniture and beautiful interiors.
There is a large open plan kitchen/sitting/dining room with plenty of space for everyone to relax together. The kitchen contains a large range cooker, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. At the other end of the barns is a smaller open plan living space with a kitchenette providing further room to relax separately or if the teenagers need their own space.
A beautiful, large terrace to the back of the property is your own private garden space to enjoy outdoor dining (gas BBQ provided), sunbathing on the lawn or just enjoying your morning coffee and watching the sun rise over the fields behind.
Within a ten minute drive of both Chichester town centre and the blue flagged West Wittering beach, Poplars Farm Barns is the perfect spot to explore this beautiful corner of West Sussex. East Wittering village is a lovely quaint spot by the sea with lovely cafés and independant greengrocers, butchers and fishmongers where you can enjoy a taste of slow living and village life.
Public footpaths surround the barns where you can enjoy rambling in the open countryside, looking out for roaming deer and an array of beautiful birds of prey.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please be aware we have free roaming chickens on site.
The barns are completely self contained and separate from the original farmhouse which is next door. There is ample parking along the driveway.
The mezzanine sleeping loft is accessed via a ladder and is unsuitable for young children without supervision. It may also be a bit cramped for those over 6ft.
We live in the Farmhouse next door and will be on hand if you need us but will otherwise leave you to it.
