We stayed at this place twice during our 8 days South Island trip. Good stop over place to stay from Christchurch to Queenstown and Te Anau for Milford sound cruise and return. Would definitely stay here for future trip South.

Despite the instructions for the TV stating there was sky there were none in our room. The TV was in a very inconvenient spot on a side wall beside the beds. If there were no windows open the room had a very old musty smell. Wouldn't stay there again. Not worth the money.

Ants in the bathroom and the manager didnt really care. He said there was 2 dead ones, but we had had showers and they had been washed down the plug hole. Felt like he didnt believe me, so I took photos of the 20 ants in bathroom when checking out. Didnt care. Also room was left unlocked after room had been serviced which isnt food

Great place and staying again soon
I was there with my wife and two teenage children visiting from the US and everything was great. The beds are very comfortable and it was nice to have a kitchenette. We had to change one of our days and the manager/owner Andy was very helpful with our change. We will be driving back that way and staying again next week. The rooms are really good and the price is very reasonable.

The place was fine. Price was good, esp as I booked only the day before, room was basic but clean, tidy and in good condition, etc. Place was on a main road but was quiet. Overall no issues. If I had any complaint - TV channels weren't very good
