Nice place to stay. My only slight problem was travelling with my elderly mother I couldn’t drop her right outside the building as it was in a shopping centre. Other than that. Clean spacious room. Comfortable bed helpful reception staff. Brought me an iron and ironing board up to my room.
Fair for the price, reception staff were friendly and the room was clean but facilities are dated and communal areas had a weird smell. Parking outside the front is super handy. Not the best example of a travelodge just needs some updating
They need signs around the hotel to find the property, we spent 10 mins looking for it. After we arrived it’s a great location with access to restaurants and pubs !
Very dark walk from car park to Travelodge.
Parking is a joke as you have to level the car park by 8am regardless. I put my blue bagde in the car but got a parking ticket anyway. Would not recommend for anyone staying alone or disabled as I was also put on the top floor

There was nothing unique about the property.
Staff were unhelful. Hotel very tired and run down.
Facilities in the room were either dirty or didnt work.
Didn't have dedicated car parking. The nearest option was confusing (no overnight or £2 for overnight) - it's a complete mystery. The entrance area, stairwell etc is very off-putting. Heavily stained carpets. Lots of noise during the night from outside

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
As I need crutches to walk I had booked, paid for and confirmed that I had an accessible room not one with a high walled bath. On arrival not only had we been given a room with a high sided bath, but a step to negotiate to get into it. In addition instead of my wife and I being in a double room we were put in a family room rather than go through a refund so the company didn't lose money. The desk staff attitude was well it wasn't me and there are only a couple of rooms and they have been given out. The end result, not only was I not able to wash my leg to change my dressing but we had to attend my niece's wedding not having had a shower on one of the hottest weekends of the year.
