When we tried to contact the property to ask about early check-in, we were unable to get through to anybody after calling three times. On the fourth time we finally got through to someone. They said they had received my voicemail and had sent me an email. The rail cars do not have showers, only tubs. The bed in our rail car was the noisiest bed we have ever slept on and had no support. We woke each other up every time we moved. The property was clean, and the staff was nice when we finally arrived.

The caboose was wonderful but the hosts were absolutely the best, the nicest all around, and he cooked up fabulous breakfasts!! It was a great place to stay, even moreso if trains are your thing. I would definitely recommend this place and stay there again.

The mean Lodge is uninspiring, and the rooms were very small. The breakfast was only mediocre, and the room was loud and echoed. We try to cancel our second night, but Expedia would not allow it.

We had such an enjoyable stay. The proprietors were so friendly and kind. Very pleasant and engaging. Our caboose was comfortable. We even had a jacuzzi bathtub!

Stayed in one of the cabooses. It was a bit rustic, but a fun experience. Definitely something different from the routine hotel room. Mat, the owner, is a kick! Good breakfast.
